I've been doing it for about two weeks currently and am down about 10 pounds. I normally only eat twice a day, and so I replace my lunch and dinner with the shake and then if I happen to go out to eat with friends I use have normal food instead of the second shake in the day.0

I've just completed week 2 and am losing more inches than weight which is more inspiring for me! So far 8lbs down and 11 inches lost.
I'll report in @ 30, 60 and 90 days with pics0 -

I started body by vi in Feb weighing 275lb and my 90 days is this month weighing 249!!!! It really has worked out well for me and I will be started in my 2nd 90 day challenge in June to try and lost 30 to 40 more pounds until I reach my goal...so if a 3rd one is needed I am all for it! What is Body by Vi 90 Day Challenge?
It is the newest fad that everyone is jumping into. I'm waiting to see and hear of long term results and see how everyone keeps the weight off long term.0 -
I lost 6 lbs in the first two weeks!! I am now down 10 lbs at week 4! I like this challenge!0

I just finished my 90 day challenge. With summer, trips and my fair share of cheating I lost 10 lbs, but I lost almost 20 inches, starting weight 166 down to 156. I drank did breakfast and lunch with a healthy dinner. The lack of weight loss is gain in muscle, I started a strength and cardio class going 4-5 times per week when I started my challenge. I am a person that likes that number on the scale too much, but I did take pictures, so it definitely works, definitely saw a great difference. I will do another 90 day challenge.0

Just finished my 1st 90 Day Challenge and dropped 26lbs and 7 inches from my waist. That is doing shakes for breakfast and lunch and a decent dinner (I could have eaten better foods). I would eat more on days I exercised to keep my net calories at around 1400-1500. Tomorrow I am starting my next 90 Day Challenge with the goal to get under 200lbs for the first time in 25 years.
Of course some will say it is a fad diet and a waste of money. Like anything, it can be a fad and a waste of money depending on the person doing it and how committed they are to the plan. Speaking for myself, it has helped me tremendously understand the need to balance nutrition and calories. Without a doubt I am getting better nutrition in the mornings with the shake than I ever got before. I know a lot of people have the time to get up, make, and eat a completely balanced nutritious breakfast, but I am not one of them and I know it. Making a shake in 2 minutes that I can drink while dropping the kids off and going to work has been very helpful. Not to mention that my wife and I are getting our shakes for free (part of the "scam") so we are saving about $50/week on our grocery budget. Can't beat that!0 -

I have been on the challenge for 2 week and I am down 7 lbs. I have a 12 oz shake for breakfast and lunch made with soymilk and frozen fruit. I usually eat 2 snatks a day as well. I snack on yogurt walnuts or sunchips. For dinner sometimes I'll eat basked fish and other times I eat chicken wings and stuff that is less healthy. I use the shape kit and am very Happy with the results. I haven't even worked our because I sprained my ankle. Hope that helps.0

Im also doing the visalus challenge...going into week 2 and down 5 lbs already. I dont think it has much to do with the shake. I think Im losing because ever since I started I figured why not make healthier choices with other things I do. Like I never exercised before...now I do. Never had breakfast or lunch...now I do. I would snack on junk..now I dont...I would binge eat in the evening...now I dont.
A friend of mine did Visalus for 6 months and she lost 50 lbs. This was months ago. She also stopped Visalus months ago and she still looks great and is still losing because even without the shakes she is continuing living healthy.0 -

Completely agree with this. There are several at work doing this, and they are getting GREAT results, however I fear that it's not teaching new healthly eating habits to be able to keep it off. This is my opinion though...will have to see what the next 6months to a year bring for them. Best of luck to everyone!0 -

Completely agree with this. There are several at work doing this, and they are getting GREAT results, however I fear that it's not teaching new healthly eating habits to be able to keep it off. They are getting good results because the diet is basically a low calorie one, not because they're drinking shakes. It's teaching you to eat very little.0 -

I managed to get here eating almost double what body by vi recommends without any exercise:

When eating at rates that body by vi recommended my weight loss slowed down, so I started eating more and volia. I recommend real food and eating a sustainable amount to everyone.
My point being, it's not body by vi giving you the 'good' results. You can get better results without it if you ask me.0 -

I'm with you on this! I hate that some people take the easy way out and believe that it's "life changing!" There is no magic in a low calorie FIX...what happens when people stop drinking it and start eating again?! POOF! You gain it all back! Sorry for being a skeptic to anyone using it but I think it's a bogus way of losing weight! Exercise is a must...just saying!0 -
One thing to note is that the shakes are made with non organic soy (though I did hear they do not use GMO beans, which is good if it is true) and contains sucralose (splenda) as a sweetener. Soy can be a hormone disruptor when it is not fermented, especially for women. Be sure to research the ingredients and make an informed decision if these will be something you plan to consume on a daily basis, particularly if you plan on drinking them several times per day.
I am not a fan of meal replacements or protien shakes in general, but there are much healthier alternatives with higher quality ingredients than this that will yeild similar results.

Agreed. I don't think it's a great idea to eat anything excessively, but when it's proven to cause several different kinds of problems, I don't go out of my way to pound back cups full of it. I mean the majority get enough soy in their diet to begin with. Try to find a regular loaf of bread in a grocery store that doesn't contain it. It's in things such as breads, crackers, cakes, rolls, or pastries containing peanuts, peanut oil, soy flour, processed and "natural" cereals, pasta, soy beans, soybean sprouts, sauces, fruit drink mixes, fruit toppings, coffee substitutes instant coffee, hot cocoa mixes, malt beverages, pork link sausage, deli/luncheon meats, commercially prepared meats (used as a meat extender), cheese substitutes, tofu, bean curd, textured vegetable protein, canned soups, commercial entrees, and combination foods, baked goods, such as cakes or cookies which contain soy flour, commercial ice creams and other frozen desserts, Hard candies, nut candies, fudge, and caramels, protein powders (even ones that are not soy protein based), margarine and butter substitutes salad dressings, mayonnaise, sauces, or gravies, Commercial vegetarian products and meat substitutes Heinz® Worcestershire sauce, Lea & Perrins® sauce, fermented soybean pastes (miso and natto), soy sauce, tamari sauce, granola, breakfast bars, Imitation bacon bits, Roasted soybeans or "soy nuts"...

There are better references out there you can look up yourself or asked an informed doctor about them.
There are also many books out there talking about the negative affects of soy...I think the popular one is called "The truth about soy" or something and then there are the ones mentioned in the links above.
Also, there's different types of soy. Not all of them have been proven bad (which you'll get if you read the links and video).
That on top of all the links I could put down on the negative affects of low calorie diets...I think body by vi should be a giant nono.
You don't need to pay a chunk of change to lose weight, it's just a giant waist if you ask me. I could give the average human being all kinds of good info to lose wight for free without ever feeling hungry.
If you're not really doing the diet and you're just drinking the shakes because its a lazy quick way to get food into you, there are cheaper alternatives.0 -
When you ask for results, I think it's important to understand what the person was doing before they started the 90 day challenge and get an idea of ALL the changes made to their diet when they started.
I can tell you, 100%, that the shakes were not the driving force behind the weight loss.
If you enjoy the shakes and don't mind spending the money, then, obviously, they aren't going to harm you. However, if you can control your food intake with normal food, then forgo the expense of the shakes and just get what you need at the grocery store.0 -
I did the full 90 days earlier this year. Lost a total of 13 lbs and 5 inches.
I followed the program exactly and worked out.
I had lost 24 lbs before body by vi, and have lost 37 in total.
I am going to do a second round to see if I can shed more fat and tone more muscle.
Although I have been off the shakes since May (i do one a day for maintenance) I have not gained back what I lost.
I had a shake for breakfast, then a snack 2 hours later, then another snack 2 hours after that (i get up at 430 to hit gym at 5), then lunch (which was a shake) then a snack 2 hours after, then dinner and I would be good for the night. i was making sure to pull in at least 1200 cals a day.
I am a believer, worked for myself and my husband. this is a aid for those who are active and not a quick fix for those who don't want to put the effort into changing their lifestyle.0 -
in my profile are my photos. I've lost approx 50lbs...I don"t weigh very often. FYI I used the transformation kit. Lost 31 on my first 90 day challenge...another ten between that and my second official challenge( meaning I used the shakes but hadn't set goals) and then my challenges since then have been more fitness related than weight loss related.0

You saw progress, but you've learned near to nothing.
1. It is physically impossible to tone. You can build, maintain, or destroy muscle mass, you can not however tone.
2. Following their work out programming (and I've seen it) is ridiculous.
3. You've learned next to nothing of the basic exercises
4. You haven't learned what foods work right for your body, you just know what shake tastes good0
