Hi! Does anyone have plans for the weekend? We're having a yard sale in the morning, so there won't be any snacking during that time. Other than that, we don't really have anything planned. My mom is coming Monday morning to help with the kids during the week next week. I'm hoping she doesn't bring a lot of fattening foods this time. The kids are going to have a lot of fun at "Camp Grandma" next week! I made all my goals today. I hope everyone has a great weekend!0

weekend plans--somewhat revolve around food. let's just say i'm not meeting my goals this week.
last night my husb and i went to pf chang's.that was yummy. i drank lots of water all day yesterday and am continuing today. partly it's the heat that motivates me.
this am i'm taking the kids to a buffet. they "earned" it and i WANT it.
i've done 5mi of exercise this am. and i will do the walk/jog dvd tonight + xstretch. it won't erase the cals, but i hope i'll hold my own.
hoping to take the kids to the y pool this afternoon too.
and do laundry. :laugh:
tomorrow we have a sitter from 10-4. i think we'll go to the pool part of the day. and i will exercise. and catch up with cleaning. and REST.
i don't know what else we'll do---but it won't be eating out.
alright, gotta get cleaned up and out we go. hope the yard sale makes $ amy.

Thanks for the zucchini recipe Stacey! (I checked out the recipe forum too). I made some last night with tomatoes. Good stuff!
As for my workout, I did a 45 minute walk with Ashanti (she's 15 pounds now)--half downhill, half uphill.
My water intake is slowly increasing.

nice job aliah! glad you got to use up your zucc too!
it's good to incr your water slowly. if you do it too fast, you wind up peeing all the time.
after a while (1 month? longer) you will actually come to crave the water to quench your thirst. at least that's what has happened to me.
never thought that would be the case--but never thought about walking 5mi/day regularly either! :happy:

Stacey, thanks for noticing my little froggy moving! :happy: I've been exercising more since I got the exercise bike a week ago, and I've been getting all my water in too. Cals have been too good the past couple days. Actually, haven't really exercised much the past 2 days either. I've been catching up on the cleaning since my mom is coming tomorrow. The kids are going to have fun this week at "Camp Grandma" at our house. I haven't decided yet whether this will give me more free time or give me extra work to do. Probably both! :laugh:

ps--amy, i think cleaning counts. i cleaned yesterday too and never got in the exercise. that's just how it is sometimes. :ohwell:
