Guy gets kicked out of an all you can eat

If it advertises "all you can eat", then it should give all you can eat. Plain and simple.
I agree with this 100%. Whether it's healthy or not is not the issue. "All you can eat" implies unlimited consumption.
The dude had unpaid bills there - I think they were fully justified in throwing him out.0 -
My dad has been kicked out of an all-you-can-eat crab leg dinner before He eats way too much!0
-
Oh dear.... Its hard to believe this is true - they must have played yet another re-run of the Simpsons.
It sound like the real issue is not how much fish he ate, but the fact that he had an outstanding bill - I think the restaurant were quite within their rights - "no pay, no eat"!
In this case they should not have let him in rather than kicked him out IMO.0 -

As I have matured, I have come to realize the importance in recognizing the difference between all you CAN eat and all you SHOULD eat.
I have eaten at a Bonanza restaraunt because they advertized All You can Eat Shrimp Night. As soon as the server arrived with the basket I ordered another and then it became All You Can Eat Until You Get Fed Up With Waiting A Half Hour In Between Baskets That Contain Half As Many Shrimp As The Previous Basket Shrimp Night. Haven't been back since.0 -
first off I think this about the unpaid tabs as other have said so they have every right to kick him out. I guess Im just getting bothered with all the fat bashing going on though. JMO0

The one thing that really pisses me off about all you can eat, or buffet style restaurants is the wasting of food. It makes me sick to see someone fill a plate with ****, eat 1/4 of it, and then go up for something else. Food is something we take for granted, and we shouldn't.
On the rare occasion I step foot into one of these restaurants, I'll go up to the buffett 5 or 6 times. But each time I go I've got more empty space on my plate than I do food. Just to make sure I do not take more than i can eat.
This. The only all you can eat place I've been is Mandarin. I'd rather take 3 trips and eat it all then take 2 and throw out half of my food. But they also have a time limit, you're only allowed a table for an hour.0 -
OK maybe the guy is a gluttonous slob, but if it's "all you can eat" then it better damn well be all you can eat. I'm sure there are plenty of people who only get one or two pieces of fish that don't demand a partial refund for not eating much. So the restaurant needs to suck it up and keep the fish coming until the guy slips into a fish coma if he wants to.
Later on in the story it mentions that he also has an outstanding tab.
Waitress Elizabeth Roeming tells WTMJ-TV ( http://bit.ly/KqsFao) says they've tried to work with Wisth over the years, even letting him run a tab that he hasn't paid off.

They should refuse him service just for being a douche.
^Yep. How embarrassing for his family. If he has one. Silly man.:grumble:0 -
People like this make me hate America. I mean, I don't hate America but this kind of crap sure makes us look like petty idiots.
It's not even the fact that he is a shameless fat *kitten*, it is the sense of entitlement that people have and the common practice of taking advantage of cheap crap to such an extreme.
I'm going to punch the next person I see eating any sort of fish as a rage outlet from this link. Sorry, fish people blame this guy.
You know, every country has asshats....0 -

This pissed me off for the same reasons.0 -
He called the police when they wouldn't serve him? What a dumbass...0

I'm not going to lie, I'd probably get kicked out of somewhere if I *really* ate as many mashed potatoes as I knew I could. Like, I wish mashed potatoes could be served to me in a miniature dump truck.
...and crab rangoon, too.0 -
This was in an episode of "The Simpsons" twenty years ago...
YES! That is immediately what I thought of.0 -
Makes me embarrassed to be from Wisco.0
-
Would love to take a group from my Immortal network on spike day. No doubt we would get kicked out!!0
-
I don't think "all you can eat" restaurants are going to work very well in future America...0
-
It says. "All You Can Eat". and I totally agree that it's false advertising to not follow through. With that being said, I was a server at a bbq place and we had a all you can eat buffett and there was always some wise guy taking advantage to the extreme. I just feel like there's somthing not right with taking advantage of a good thing. He cleared 8 porkchops in one sitting, not to mention the other sides with it.0

"Waitress Elizabeth Roeming said the man has been a problem for years, and has a substantial tab he hasn't yet paid off,"
????????????????????????
Do they let you do that in America? Eat, put it on a tab, come back the next week, eat, put it on a tab, repeat as many times as a "substantial tab" takes to build up?! Why are they serving him if h doens't pay his tab?!
WHAT?!0 -

I always wondered about getting kicked out. I never even came close
My ex played college football. He was 6'2" and 240 when we dated and he was the small one. They got kicked out of Olive Garden and a Chinese buffet.0 -

I second crab rangoon!0 -
This happened to my dad once. My uncle (mom's brother) was the manager. This was before they were married. Makes for a funny story.0

Saw the video, I think what makes it worse is he's parading around protesting.....and it's not like they kicked him out with nothing, said they threw an extra 8 pieces after the 12 he ate then asked him to go.....not that one makes the other any better, but walking around with a sign? ok, we get it, you can eat....a lot......good for you \m/0

Great!!!!!!!!!!0

*I only got to eat 12 plates of fried fish!!!!!*
First world problems. Perspective, please.0 -

^ ^ ^ ^ fish coma..lol..But, I agree!! Don't advertise what you aren't willing to give. Hey, that works in MANY areas of life..
Agreed0 -
And if he gets heart problems no doubt he will sue the restaurant for serving him too much fattie food.
Welcome to our modern world - where it's always somebody else's fault...
THAT'S RIGHT! We never stand a chance to learn from our mistakes and grow when we're always blaming someone else. You are doomed to be a loser at life0 -
This guy seems to be the result of inbreeding, lol.
A place near me advertises as an "All You Care To Eat" Buffet, lol.0
