Love your wilderness photos and wild flowers. It makes me want to go for a hike in the mountains. Someday I'll see it all. It's hard to be back in the city. The sea is wide open and changes constantly. The water was crystal clear this morning with tiny fish swimming in schools. The squirrels love it there. They'll be back this weekend and then will stay all of August. The little one, who's 3 and a half, came up to me and said "Nonna (grandma) can I sleep with you tonight?" It melts your heart. However, it was like sleeping with a big fish that flip-flopped all night.

We got the portable crib in our room, so the next night everyone was happy.

The image of the squirrels sleeping in your bed. You're having a whale of a time and fish I was there. I'm reading 'Extinction'. Says we're losing a 100 species every day. I don't take any of them for granted. I'm glad you enjoy them. You know I can't help myself. In 40 years, our wildlife has been cut in half.
