SnowCat, I had the folkaronies over for homemade turkey pot pies. They wanted dessert and I didn't have anything but three boxes of atkins peanut butter cookies. They done cleaned me out and said, "You got anymore?" Now, you might know what a box of 4 costs but I didn't blink an eye. I guess I didn't need any to begin with. Cat, we might have to watch the night life later on. It will probably be quieter but I cannot believe the traffic for early March. Oy vey.

It's not bragging if it's true. I get so frickity frick frick frickin happy when I listen to music. I've been this way since day one. I used to do my homework so I could listen to music and dance every night until it was bedtime. Nothin' has changed.
I have 8 aunts and 6 uncles who are just like me and I have over 150 first cousins. That's just the maternal side of the outfit.

One of my aunts can sing this song perfectly. I can hear her voice. She's a beauty. She had so many men coming to the house that she would hide behind the couch.

SnowCat, I'm going to share this and I don't know why. Maw had a rodeo champion cowboy. He had two girlfriends and he was pulling the wool over Maw's eyes. He gave her an engagement ring. He would take Maw to the early show and the other gal to the late show. Come to find out, he and the other gal had to get married. He came out to 'the house' and asked for his ring back to give to the other girl. Maw was madder than a wet hornet so she put it into a cast iron skillet and tried to melt it down. Grandpaw told her she had to give it back. He comes to the house and she throws it at him. She told him that she hoped all of his kids looked like monkeys.

Years later. I meet this man and I know exactly who he is and so I mess with his head. Just a little. I introduce myself and ask him if he might know my mother. He turns white as a ghost and looks like he's going to pass out. He told me that I looked just like her. I met his kids. Maw wanted to know if they looked like monkeys and I said, absolutely. They looked like a throwback to the planet of the apes. That made Maw very happy. The more you know.
