@snowflake954 You're probably hitting the hay soon but I'm headed into town. The grocery store shelves are bare. The trucks aren't making it in. I'm not complaining because I have whopping boatloads of folkaronies. We'd help one another in a pinch. The odd thing is that all of the picnic supplies are gone. Paper plates and plasticware. That means the pesky are lurking in the piney woods. The liquor stores have been emptied like a tornado just went through. I am here to report there were only 10 drunken and disorderly events this past week.

I'm not romanticizing drinking by any stretch of the imagination but this place is a lorra lorra like Alaska. The winters are long and you know the drill. Everyone's just swilling, milling around and shooting the breeze...waiting on a Chinook. That about does'er. There's more I'd like to say but we've got to lay back in the weeds. The first grizzly has been spotted coming out of hibernation. That's always a big deal and it means more of the pesky will be headed our way. Oy vey. So long, Woman. Catch you on the flip-flop.

Yep--getting to bed late tonight. Pizza was good. Tomorrow the kids start moving. They're already asking me if I've done this or that over there, like "Did you turn on the frig and see if it works"? That's MY job? Oh hell, it's going to be a week of turmoil. Thursday is the critical day--I think I'll go hide somewhere. Somebody's got to watch the squirrels. Maybe I'll volunteer for guard duty.
