Will you look this good at 76? And by "you," I mean "me". LOL

I have a 1,700 calories a day, mostly comprised of boiled egg whites, chicken, vegetables and a liquid egg white drink.
I run about 80 miles per week and bench presses 150 pounds. Bicep curls are done with 15- and 20-pound dumbbells.
I have been married for 53 years and grandmother to a 13-year-old. I am exactly where I want to be."

She's amazing! So inspirational. Thanks for showing us such a good role model who proves to us all that you can be fit and buff at any age.0
-
I love that her sneakers have little kitten heals on them.0
-
Wow... she is INCREDIBLE.0
-
Awesome, what an inspiration. I think the secret to staying young mentally and physically is to stay active. If you dont use it you lose it0
-
this is awesome, guess we are not all doomed for the big senior belly0
-
How awesome! I hope I'm still lifting in my 70's and beyond.0
-
Seriously love this.0
-
one of my heroes for a long time now. and since she runs 10 miles a day, she's proof that lifting and extended cardio are counterproductive0
-
Wow!!!! She looks amazing and SO much younger than her age!0
-
OMG, thank you for posting this. I just started lifting tonight, before I saw this, and at 56 was wondering if it was even worth it! But she is incredible! Thanks again!0
-
Oh wow she doesn't look 76. For me, she look like 40 something with a hair dye.
That's actually my long term goal.... to still look hot at 70 or 80 something.
By the way this is so inspiring especially to people who are in the 40's & above & even for someone in the 30's like me.0 -
Look like her at 76? How about now.0
-
holy moly, she looks so much younger. That's dedication!0

Thanks for sharing. This is very encouraging. I am 52... That means if she can be in that good of shape at 76, there is hope for me as well... awesome!0 -
She's 76? WOW. My mother is 56 and she looks young for her age, but Ernestine still looks younger and fitter than her. I am utterly amazed, she must be the coolest grandma ever!0
-
Oh, I just thought of this - I am so showing this to my mom who says lifting heavy weights gives you wrinkles.0
-
Wow!!!!! She is gorgeous and looks incredible!! ))) What a great example. My new hero0
-
Love the high heel sneakers. She is beautiful0

WOW!!! She looks soooo much younger than what she is!0

I never wanted a muscular body......until now0
-
Now that's what I call inspiration!0

Thanks for posting.
I agree with many people - she has been my hero for a long time.
I love reading about her accomplishments.
She is a role model for any woman.0 -

How does 1,700 calories a day sustain that kind of physical activity? or is it related to the drop in metabolism from aging? I am in awe at her physical condition.0
-
Yes, that does seem a low calorie intake for someone who runs 80 miles a week AND lifts, maybe she adds exercise cals? It would be interesting to know because she is an amazing lady. If i looked that good in my 30s i'd be proud, to look that awesome in your 70s is just stunning.0

She's 5' 5", 130 lbs, according to her website. That's not that big, and she's pretty old. I'd guess it's the age, the relatively light weight, and the fact that she's at a really low bodyfat so has to work hard to keep it there.0
