To answer a couple of the questions I read -
I would recommend any exercise you feel comfortable with and to me the main thing was not sickening myself by doing too much exercise and making myself dread doing any exercise. For me walking is my favourite form of exercise, I have a bad leg and bad back that makes most exercises painful for me but walking helped a lot! Nothing like a good bit of fresh air!
And to answer how I did it, I focussed really hard on staying in the green. I studied the foods I ate so that I got into the habit of being able to look at foods and know whether or not I could have them. I pre plan most days as well so that I know exactly how many calories I have spare, that way I never go into the red!
For me, these 2 things helped a great deal!
