    One of my faves:

8 low fat whole wheat or multigrain crackers like triscuits
    2 slices cheddar cheese
    8 slices cucumber

Split the cheese into 4 pieces and put one piece of cheese and one slice of cucumber in each cracker :) So yummy!!!

Chicken.....most sundays we grill and I make 3 - 4 oz portions to freeze and have for snacks. I'll season several different ways so I have choices. This came from months of too many high carb/sugar snacks and trying to figure out how to maximize protein and get a better macro balance - definitely still very much a work in progress for me :)

one slice of bread with cream cheese is only 100 cals

That sounds great but most of the bread I see is more like 100 cals just for the bread with another 50-100 on top of that for the cream cheese...the only one I know of that is less is a 45 calorie sara lee bread but the slices are so small....

Wonder makes a Wheat bread called Smart Bread, it's 50 cals per slice and looks and tastes like real bread lol it's yummy

Problem with these is that I HATE the spinach ones...and often times the color is so light I can't tell if it is or not...I gagged the last time I had them.

mozzarella cheese sticks made w/ 2% low fat milk

are one of the biggest things my scale has ever had to face.

    never again.

I think I may have 10 between now and when I die because of that hard-learned truth.

What does this mean? What "hard-learned truth" are you talking about?

I'm constantly snacking on veggies! I make a really yummy mix of cherry tomatoes, carrots, snap peas, celery, broccoli, and cauliflower!
Good fruit snacks are apples, a "fruit salad" with fresh watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and whatever other fruit you want!

Hummus goes really well with veggies and crackers is is really yummy!

I bought a pack of these when they were on clearance at one of the stores by me. Good stuff but I haven't seen them for sale since. I'll have to check a couple other stores.

    I am a snacker too.

I like to take 2 slices of Oscar Mayer Smoked Honey turkey and roll a light string cheese up in the turkey. 100 calories.

12 special k crackers and light laughing cow cheese wedge, 95 calories.

18 cocoa roast almonds, 100 calories.

apple with 1 T peanut butter, 175 calories.

    Nutrigrain bar 120 calories.

Light sour cream pringles 70 cal for 14.

3/4 cup peanut butter cheerios. 110. If you want it with milk, I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk for 35 cal per cup.

    Hope that helps a little.

Cubed Watermelon with feta cheese and chopped fresh basil or mint.
    Sunflower Market real cheese puffs
    Luna Bars...any flavor. :)
Rosemary roasted nuts (many types of nuts)
  • Pineapple is a favorite of mine, as well as plain Fage 0% with berries (fresh or frozen). I also keep a jar of peanut butter in my office (for whatever fruit I bring, or sometimes if I'm feeling carby I bring a 100 calorie sandwich thin and use half).

Might sound weird, but I like to make up some grilled chicken and cube it. I eat it with a little bit of honey so it takes care of any sugar craving I have. I make the chicken the night before or use last nights left over chicken and warm it up in the microwave at work.

For some reason this sounds amazing!!
