Hello everyone! Summer is creepin' up on us so this challenge is a final push to get to where we feel comfortable by the summer months! Let's TONE UP.

***STARTING JUNE 1st*****

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Each member competes to have the most points (within their own team) from week to week; the teams are also competing against each other

Point tracking runs from Monday to Sunday

Submissions to online spreadsheet (including weigh-in’s and measurements, when necessary) are due on Mondays but cut off is Tuesday 9am EST.

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES

TEAMS OF FIVE:
Every five people to reply to this thread will be considered a team. Be sure to add your teammates as friends on MFP.
Please elect one person "Captain"

FIRST ENTRY:
1-heaviest weight
2-starting weight
3-goal weight
4-starting measurements
**Food Diaries must be open** No judgements! This is a supportive place but we need to be honest with our team and ourselves.

WEEKLY SUBMISSIONS:
Each week will run from Monday to Sunday

An online form (to collect weekly submissions, I recommend googledocs so everyone has access) should be set up and updated by Monday.
It's the Captain's responsibility to make sure these get in by Monday!

Completed forms are due by Tuesday at 9:00 AM (EST) **No Exceptions**
If a teammate doesn't submit, no points awarded.

Weigh-in’s: Submitted FRIDAYS

Measurements: Submitted at the beginning and end of the challenge


POINT STRUCTURE:

1 point is earned for:

# of days you complete your food journal (max 7 pts)
# of days you drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water (max 7 pts)
# of days you stayed under your caloric goal (max 7 pts)
every 200 calories burned (max 10 pts)
trying a new type of exercise (max 5 pts)

Bonus Challenges

Each week will feature 2 challenges for members to achieve 5 and 10

Examples of challenges:

Post photos of your fridge and cupboards
Post your “before” pictures (to your secret group)
Read a specific health-related article
Complete a specific workout


I know this is a lot to take in but I think it will be fun! It will be a great way to get active and try new things. Plus, friendly competition never hurt anyone! Who's with me?!??
