Just finished Eat Pray Love and would definitely recommend that one. I've heard good things about 50 Shades of Grey also, so that'll probably be my next read. My fellow Passion Parties consultants are eating it right up... We're calling it research lol.

Tamora Pierce is the author, right now I'm reading the Song of the Lioness series (I think that's the name). It's fantasy for young adults, and with a female protagonist. (And I just met the author... )

Fifty Shades of Grey <groan> The story is ok but if you've read Twilight it's the exact same thing. Take out vampires and werewolves and add in BDSM and there you have it. Also, 50 Shades is written very poorly.

Best books I've read lately: Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand and The Language of Flowers of Vanessa Diffenbaugh

Don't waste your money on 50 Shades of Grey unless you're a Twilight fan...it was written by someone with the literary skills of a sixth grader.

    ^^^^THIS, AGREE 100%

game of thrones. i watched the first season on hbo before starting though so it's not as exciting (as the show follows the books quite well) and is therefore taking me a while to get through!

Fifty Shades of Grey...I liked it. I must not be a great book critic. I didn't think it was written poorly :)

I have taken obsession to the next level and am reading Master of the Universe (the original 50 shades of grey, which was her fanfic of Twilight).

    Bloodlines by Rachel Mead.

Great book. Her Vampire Academy series is one of my favorite series. I have read the whole thing about 3 times. Next book comes out in June!!

    The Hunger Games Trilogy!!

I'm currently half-way through the second book and so far I've not been able to put them down! :)

If you like teen dystopian fiction with a strong female lead, try Divergent by Veronica Roth. Book 2 is Insurgent. Unfortunately, book 3 is not due out until Fall 2013 (book 2 was just released a couple weeks ago). As good as Hunger Games.

I concur!! Awesome series. Can't believe the last one is over a year away :-(

Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. (Magic Bites, Magic Burns, Magic Bleeds)

    or her latest, Gunmetal Magic.

Downloading the second of Martin's series, but it's a huge commitment so I may need something to lighten it up when I'm not in the mood. I'll have to sort through here and see what else peeps are reading so this is kind of a bump...

I'm reading 'Damned' by Chuck Palahniuk, but not enjoying it as much as his other books. However, looking forward to getting back into Jeff Lindsay's Dexter books!
