hmm.. nothing completely but I sure have cut back. The 3 hardest things to cut back on were...
1. Potato chips. - Would eat every single day and have only had 2 handfuls since January
2. Diet Coke - I also drank this every day and no only 1 - 2 times a month (having one right now hehe)
3. Poutine - I had this at least once a week and have only had once since January
Woo..Just had a proud moment.0 -
1) My fat *kitten*
That's all.

2. Monogamy
3. Fried foods
What say you?
1. Beer during the weekdays (I'll still tilt a few during the weekend)
2. Mindless eating (No more mowing through a box of Cheez-its or eating a dozen fast-food burgers)
3. Being lazy (All the extra energy makes it hard for me to want to sit around)0 -
You go on a diet and get more sex partners??? I live in the wrong state...damn!!
I didn't say I have more sex partners, I just said I gave up monogamy, that's all. I haven't had a sex partner since the Reagan Administration.0 -

OMG, I'm right there with you on that one! The birthday present I told people I want is to go to the Chinese buffet and eat myself into a blissful nap!0 -
1. Soda, because it isn't enjoyable like it used to be. I still have a little now and then but it's not the same.
2. Some of my shoes, since they are too loose now.
3. Er... several pounds of fat!
I don't believe you have to give up anything... at least I didn't. Maybe those who have a real trigger (like the one who mentioned Chinese buffets) would need to stay away from those things. But if you can use portion control, you can have pretty much anything.
I feel really sad for the person who said they had to give up guilt-free eating. Eating should not have anything to do with guilt.0 -
1. Bread
2. Crisps
3. Pasta
So, fun carbs basically!0 -
I agree with whoever said that they gained so many new food options. I don't really deny myself certain foods, but I just don't want the bad things anymore. Thinking about eating fast food makes me want to hurl. Just the lack of quality nutrition in fast food disgusts me which I guess is a good thing. I find myself craving my apple with natural peanut butter, or grapes and cottage cheese as a way to satisfy my sweet tooth. But there are things that I crave and usually don't give into because of the amount of calories in them.
1- White chocolate mochas (I used to drink one basically every day, now I drink brewed coffee with SF creamer)
2- Blizzards from Dairy Queen (I never really ate these often, but one small blizzard has 600 calories. Yikes! Not worth it.)
3- Can't think of anything else that I don't eat in moderation still.
I have gained so much more
1- Endurance
2- A new outlook on life
3- Self confidence0 -

Nothing, nothing, and nothing! I just don't pig out and guzzle Dr. Pepper all day, every day. I had NO IDEA how insane my calorie intake was before I joined MFP. ><0
-
I gave up a lot more than 3 things:
sodas
fried foods
sweets
pizza
white bread
chips
red meat
alcohol
Thing is, most of thost things, except the alcohol, was something I craved after drinking a soda or 5 a day. Now that I don't drink soda, I don't crave any of those and don't miss a thing.
I never was much of a drinker so that was no big deal, too.0 -

For some foods, a saner portion ends up just being a tease. Like seeing a great mahogany desk, only to discover that it's laminate covered particle board.
