What happened to all the fitness?

I know this is the "chitchat" section, but seriously some of the topics discussed here are borderline pornographic. Is this all we can talk about between fighting the hunger pangs and trying to push out those last few reps?

Yes. Exercise increases libido.
Can't help it.
Also, you're pretty.0 -

So THAT'S what's happening. Good to know.
** Seriously, I thought it might just be that my husband and I felt better (he's lost 60lbs and I've lost 23) but we haven't had this much sex since we first got married 10 years ago.0 -

Thank you very much, but I don't roll that way....what's your favorite no-gym workout?0

Redacted, probably going in a whole different direction than the op intended. lol0 -
Mkay...how about horseback riding for example? I was just looking for some options for people like me who are no where near a gym, or maybe can't afford a membership.0

My guess is all that all the fitness is in the Fitness and Motivation forum.0 -
Yeah, but the whole site is called "My Fitness Pal", right?0

I ride pretty regularly during the summer months, and it's true, you can get pretty chafed, but once you do it enough times, you toughen up.0
-
Isn't there a cream to help with the chafing? Or is that for rashes only?0
-
it is called "My Fitness Pal" but not everyone is 100% fitness 100% of the time, even the most dedicated to fitness like to talk about other things.0
-
Love riding! Burns tons of calories  love riding a bike too...0

A cream will only slow down the toughening process...I think I actually build some calluses by mid-summer...it gets pretty intense.0 -
I've been on here for a year and gotten to know some of my MFP friends really well. I'd bore myself to death if I just talked about fitness.
That said... ROCK CLIMBING is the bomb diggity.0 -

What she said...:-)0 -
I go to a playground when I'm not around a gym......I do some pullups, dips, pushups, jump squats, lunges etc.0
-
Alrighty then...bike riding, baby-kissing pushups, rock-climbing and horseback riding...all great ideas!
But I'm looking for something that will help with upper body strengthening...0 -

Coryida you're awesome.. LMAO0 -
Inner thigh calluses don't sound hot at all, lol! I'm not a rider and am afraid of farm animals so I wouldn't know one way or another. You can get involved in martial arts or cycling. Those are great alternatives if there isn't a gym near you. Investing in something like P90x, Insanity, or Convict Conditioning would give you some decent strength gains (nothing major, but decent). Google may have dozens more we haven't even thought of yet Good luck!0

I have never understood horseback riding.. do you get your pulse up above 150? I rode a horse once and the SOB tried to dump me over a fence....0 -
Rock climbing has made my arms stronger than strength training ever did. And my abs. and my butt.0
-
Okay, a serious answer - I do body weight exercises at home and at the park by my house (chin-ups, inverted rows, step-ups, pushups, monkey bars, planks, squats, lunges, etc) and I jump on the trampoline, do jumping jacks or jump rope, and go for walks.0
-
All this talk of riding is making me...well....I don't wanna piss off the OP so I'll refrain0
