My husband and I are zombie fanatics!
He, because he loves them, I, because I have an irrational fear.
Well today is the day I feel a bit more justified in my fear!!!! Its not the living dead I'm worried about, its ppls outta touch with reality and heighten strength and aggression that freak me out.

Apparently they were both so high on this new LSD. The cops say it's a new form on the street and is a threat to everyone because it fries the brain and in the words of the cop reporting "turns people into monsters". So yup, I think you're right. He didn't stop when they shot him because they say on this LSD you feel no pain. Wonder if he realizes he's dead yet?0

On a side note, I would have liked the officers to immobilize the attacker instead of killing him...try and figure out what is going on. Of course, you know how it goes...then he'll bite one of the scientists analyzing him, then scientist goes home early because he's not feeling well....BLAMO, zombie outbreak.0 -

Maybe it's just because I'm from Texas and we like our guns but.......I have to say if I saw someone eating another person's face and growling at me, I'm just not sure how keen I would be on finding a non lethal way of calming them down :ohwell:

WARNING DISGUSTING INFO: May make you sick!! - They say it's from some sort of Bad LSD trip that makes them have super human strength and they get naked b/c their temperature gets so high...Some of them start chewing on other peoples skin like this guy did but this guy was swallowing the meat and ate his eyeballs and nose...

I just saw this report....then came straight to MFP to see if there was already a post about it. Craaaaaazy stuff man! I agree that shooting him was necessary...my brother is an officer of the law, and I have to say I don't want him to try to take a chance with rubber bullets and tasers on a man who is so completely brain fried that he felt that chewing off another man's face was an appropriate response to an argument. A person fried on PCP or LSD is so gone that they feel no pain and are stronger than the freaking hulk! Better not take a chance with your own life, your co-workers, and the general public...and because I am completely terrified of Zombies, you can bet I'd make one a head shot just for good measure. Don't want that sucker getting up after unloading on him.
On a side note....think I'll head to Walmart now...I need some milk and a shotgun. :laugh: :laugh:0 -

I have a friend who has been preparing for this day her whole life! I must quickly drive to her house and lock myself in the attic! Please don't let them eat me... they'd be feasting for days! Wait... on second thought... just point out my trouble spots and let them chew that off, then rescue me!:laugh: The zombies I mean, not the freaks on drugs. The movies are quite confusing on this topic. In the original Night of the Living Dead, they were all really slow and seemed to be dragging a limb. However, in some of the newer movies they are walking on the ceiling. If they are like that, I'm screwed. lol0 -
