OP. What you are currently doing is not working. It seems wise to take the advice offered, if you are unsure speak to a nutritionist/doctor.0

But, you DO need more than 900 calories per day. Your BMR is 1400, which means that if you were in a coma, the doctor would give you 1400 calories intravenously just to keep you alive. You need to take the advice you are being given here, today. You need and "want" help or you wouldn't be asking for it. I have been where you are right now. You will not lose any weight the way you are doing it. You will become severely depressed and you can't let that happen. Please, heed the advice you are being given!
You need 1400 calorie, even if you don't eat back your excercise calories. If you feel like you just can't eat anymore, eat some peanut butter. A lot of the body builders do that.0 -

Clearly if you haven't lost weight for 4 months, it's not. Start with 1200 calories a day and see how you feel from there.0 -
Your diet seems nutritionally poor. Other people on here know more about it than I do, but common sense says you need more protein and more calories. If you don't want to eat more and better, then I guess you will just stay with what you are doing and get the same results.
If you fill up fast, try eating mini meals throughout the day.0 -
I checked your diary before I read all the comments, but I had to go all the way back to the 22nd to find a day where you logged.
MFP works if you use it, Try to log everything you are eating for the next week, because even though your goal is 900 calories (which I agree is to low) i wouldn't be surprised if you are not even meeting that.
Focus on getting in proper nutrition and use MFP logging to make sure you are getting enough protein, good carbs and fat and then evaluate from there.

You are not hungry due to hormone imbalances (ghrelin & leptin) not because you really do not need to eat more. If you are full try more calorie dense foods such as nuts, cheese, avocados etc.
You basically need to reset your metabolism. You are not going to like this suggestion but....you need to eat at what should be your maintenance for at least 4 weeks (not what it is now as it is suppressed after eating too little for too long). You do need to make sure you log ALL your food so you can more accurately calculate your deficit.0 -
Keep everything else the same but add in one 15-20min HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) session a week
NOT this - you are not eating enough to fuel your current activities let alone more activity.0 -

If you eat 1000 calories a day you should not be doing ANY workouts. You need to eat most if not all of your exercise calories back. So if you burn 500 calories working out you need to eat 1500 calories (although the starting point of 1000 calories is still too low).

I commend your ability to stay motivated for so many months without seeing much change. That really shows good commitment and I think that will carry you a long way- so long as you begin eating a bit more. I know many people have said so already, but aim for 1200 cals to begin with, if netting 1200 is too hard right now.
For instance, you could add 2 tablespoons of peanutbutter (190-200 calories) spread on a banana (100 cals) for a snack and there you could have an easy 300.
Or, if you're looking to add something more substantial you could saute some veggies (mushrooms, onion, zucchini, bell peppers, etc) and add it to a cup of rice for 300 calories.
Anyhoo, my point is that you're doing a fantastic job in regard to making this kind of commitment to reach a goal- which can be the hardest part. And, since you haven't noticed any change yet, adding some more calories certainly won't hurt to try for, say, 2 weeks.

If your 900 calories represents an excellent nutritional balance (which is hard to do without effort), I would imagine the problem is that you're not exercising as hard as you think you are.
Are you doing 45 to 60 minutes of cardio 5 to 6 times a week with your heart rate at an intense level for most of the workout?
I would also do a bit of strength training, not to lose weight -- it won't help that much -- but to have a better rounded program.
It also couldn't hurt to see a doctor or registered dietitian about the nutrients in your diet.
As you are very short -- 4' 10" -- I would be wary of increasing your calories to the 1400+ level some people are discussing, at least without knowing the true level of your exercise efforts and how much you weigh now.0 -

I will keep many thoughts to myself...but I will say that I am 4'11 and I do LOTS of research on health etc. I have not seen a single piece of information that would ever tell me to eat below 1200 calories. In fact MFP is the only one that suggests even that low- other things suggest higher and that you eat the exercise calories back. Good luck- I would say that in my opinion- we all should strive for healthy first.0

AGREED!! Eat, woman, eat!! Even a tiny person like you needs more calories than you're consuming. You won't lose weight until you start to fuel your body properly--plain and simple. Best wishes. :flowerforyou:0 -

She's also quite short. I don't know how much she weighs. Some people said without knowing her height that 97pounds was too low. That was wrong.
I assume an 18 year old is a grownup. And I did suggest she talk to a specialist. I added other qualifications that clearly you did not absorb.
If someone eating low calories does not lose weight, it 's probably because they miscalculated either their calorie burn or their calories consumed: It's that simple. As has been pointed out numerous times, starvation mode is not an easy event to trigger.0 -

I did not have an issue with the weight as such (assuming a healthy BF%).
I did absorb what you said re specialists, but most folks do nor go to see them as they are expensive and so giving good healthy advice is also appropriate.
And yes - an 18 year old is technically a grown up - but at 18, she is still growing to an extent and will have a higher metabolism and will have higher nutritional needs than you or me.0 -

Listen to what has been said... you aren't eating enough! You may feel full on 900 calories and feel as though you don't need anymore but you do.
900 calories plus exercise is dangerous and not enough to sustain anyone. I suggest you go see a doctor to discuss your nutrition with.0 -

Do you drink lots of water? Do you eat lots of sodium? Are you eating enough calories? Do you measure & weigh your foods?? Do you eat lots of carbs? There are lots of things that might be making this happen for you.0

If you have been eating low calories for an extended period of time, it may be a good idea to eat at maintenance for a few weeks,before returning to a deficit. Then gradually taper them down sensibly, until your losing again. 20% bellow maintenance is a good start.0
