I'm 5'5 and currently weigh 171. I was happiest around 125. Trying to get back in that general area as well. I am not going by the scale to determine what I am happy with though. When I am comfortable, I will stop!

This is still going! Hahah, well I'm 5'4 and currently about 154 with a medium frame, but not too long ago I was around 140, and I was still looking to lose more and tone up. My highest was 160-165. I lost about 25 pounds my senior year of high school, but stopped taking care of myself well a few months into college, then brought it back down, then shot back up probably 10 pounds of the holidays (I have a problem with restraint when I go home.. no good.) But now I'm back to doing things the healthy way! I've been going to the gym 4 times a week lifting and doing cardio, and I've had a really good past couple of days with food (I would have a good week then ruin it on the weekend- NOT THIS WEEK!). Anyway, I was originally aiming for 120, but I'm thinking I'll end up being happy, healthy, and toned (and BANGIN'!) in the 125-135 range. :)

I'm 5'4" about 121 pounds. My starting weight was about 136. I'm not starving - in fact I find it very difficult meeting my caloric needs. I have to eat about 2800-3000 cals a day because I'm really active. Also, I can't have gluten and cow dairy so I have to eat clean food. I don't eat sugar only because I find that I have better consistent energy all day long and through workouts by doing so. My sugars come from fruits and veggies. So you can imagine - I had to sit there and eat a large tub of chicken and potatoes yesterday and it took me about 2.5 hrs because I was so full. I rock climb, lift weights (circuits and power lift), run, and do indoor cardio. Word of advice, I made the mistake of undereating (only ate 1800-2000 cals/day) for a long time and it really hindered my weight loss goals. I made an investment to get a bodymedia fit and it really is awesome. It told me I was burning waaaaay more than I thought and I don't like to have more than a 500 calorie deficit. Seriously, the cost of the device is worth every since cent because it took all the guess work out of the picture. Stay active and positive girls! You can do it!

    107. Never weighed more than 105 til I was 35. Was one of those 90 pound kids who ate everything when I was younger. Always ate well, etc. At 120 I looked sloppy at 40 and at 132 I looked porky at 42. Feel great and look great at 105-110. 5 4, very small boned. tiny wrists etc. Right now in that range, where I've been for 2 years, after hitting the above mentioned 132 and deciding enough was enough. I tend to put on fat in my belly area so I'm one of those ladies who looks like i'm pregnant if i have any extra weight. i have narrow hips/no butt, kinda like a boy, so it's not a good look. women with hips/booty wear weight better.

It's weird though, I'm about a 2 or 4 at that weight, and was an 8 inching into a terrifying 10 at the high one (132), yet some wear size 2 or 4 at like 125 according to this thread so just goes to show you weight isn't the determinant of size. Really body composition and body fat % is what counts at the end of the day.

I think it really just depends on the person and their body type. I'm about 5'4 and when I weighed 140, people were asking me if I was eating and if I was sick . I was thinking that 5'4 was a good weight for me, but clearly I was looking thinner than that from other people perspectives. Now, for me, I think 155 is just fine So ya it depends on the individual. I know some girls who are about my height and 120-125, but they look fine. Generally though, I would say not to go under 120 or not over 165 for someone about 5'4...

It's all about frame. I'm on the tall side (5'9") and feel best under 130. If you have a small frame at 5'4", I don't think 120 is unreasonable as long as you are not starving yourself to get there.

I'm 5'4" and for me 130 lbs is perfect. It puts me in a size 4. I am currently at 169 lbs and a size 12. Slowly working my way down.

Weight isn't just based on height. I am 5 1 and when I was 20 I weighed between 103-115. At 33 I am overweight but I should be around 120. Being you are young you can be thinner but I would recommend you look at your frame and decide. People get obsessed and not everyone has the same shape even though they may be the same height. If I got to 103 now I would look like a drug addict. As long as you feel strong and are happy with what you look like you are doing great!

I'm 5'4" with a medium-to-large frame and felt my best between 128-140ish (with muscle). The last time I was there was about 6 years ago though and I've had one baby and will be having another one in a few weeks, so I'm not sure if that weight range is still realistic. My first goal is to get back into the 170s!

I'm 5.4 I started at 175 and hit 133 which was my original target and decided to stop, maintained for 6 months then decided I still wasn't happy with the size of my love handles and thighs, felt great in clothes but not so good to be bikini confident etc, so a couple of months ago I set a new goal to lose another 4lb and see how I felt...better but I'm still not quite there. I'm about 128 now, I've been slowly doing it at a small deficit and lifting weights just seeing how I go and slightly shifting my target each time (currently 125). I think everyone's a bit different just see how you feel. My frame is a bit strange I have teeny wrists but massive hips!

I'm 5'4/5'5 and I'm currently around 133lbs. I'd like to get down to 125lbs but I'm really trying not to worry too much about what the scale says as I have around 30% body fat according to my home scale and thats the figure that I really need to try and lower to get healthy, reduce the risk of heart attacks etc and improve the overall look of my body. Its hard to try not to worry about how much I weigh but I could weigh 100lbs and still not feel slim if I can't get the BF down.

I'm 5'4 inches also and small frame, I weigh 127 and My BMI 21.9 which is in the normal range. For a person that is 5'4, Healthy BMI range should be between 18.5-24.9 that is a normal BMI, Healthy weight range should be between 108 to 145. anyhing below that is consider underweight and any thing over 145 is consider overweight. I have maintain my weight for the past 10 years. I eat healthy and exercise daily. I don't take in alot of sweets. I don't do diet drinks, don't like the taste or artificial sweetners. I drink water and Sweet tea. I limit myself on sweet tea. I hope this my help.

I'd be happy with 135-140. I'd like to keep my curves. I never ever want to be skinny.

I'm 5'3.5" and currently weigh 138. I was down to 125 last summer and still wasn't happy with how I looked; I am veeerrryyy bottom heavy.

My new goal is 120 and I think that it would be maintainable. I didn't maintain at 125 due to surgical complications that have left me physically limited, but I am (slowly) recuperating.

I agree that it's important to set reasonable mini-goals and then reassess. When I get to 120, I might think I look like I still need to lose a few more lbs, or maybe I will need a gain a couple back!

I like my muscles. And don't want to lose their "weight" aka my LBM.

    So 145 is my goal

My son is is 2 inches shorter then I am. At 13 years old he weighs 93lbs.
Stick thin! No way woud I wanna be near or around that.

    Just my personal feeling.
