Sissy's Song by Alan Jackson- he wrote it for a woman friend that died way to young. My Mom died when I was 18, she was 50 years old. It always reminds me of my Mom.
The National Antham because I served in the US Navy and it makes me proud to be an American.
God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood.
    Angels Among Us by Alabama.

America's national anthem for some reason. Like every time I hear it before a game I'm choking up.

Me too. And "America the Beautiful" and "God Bless the USA" makes me bawl!

Hearing Taps played always gets me

Me too...I have buried a few friends and relatives to it.

Music makes me cry... like a baby... it's embarrassing.
And nothing for the same reason.
Just a very, very small list:

    My Immortal - Evanescence

    Whiskey Lullaby - Brad Paisley

Trick Rider - The Wailin' Jennys

I Am a Town - Mary Chapin Carpenter

Like a Star - Corinne Bailey Rae

Ennio Morricone... all his stuff. (Okay, most of it.) ;)

Add a cello... any song... I'm done. :(
A uke will make me smile. :)

"The Incurable Tragedy I" by Into Eternity
"These Are the Days of Our Lives" by Queen

It's very hard to make me cry, but those two songs tend to tug at my heart strings. They make me think of my father
  • I'm Still Here, Pearl Jam

    Lost Cause, Beck

    True Love Waits, Radiohead

This whole thread is making me cry. Music can definitely touch your soul in ways that not too many other things can.

    Anything patriotic.
    Old hymns.
"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me.
    Certain classical music.
Any of the music to Les Mis. The husband and I went and saw a movie last night, and they played the trailer to the new movie coming out in Dec. I cried through the whole thing.

    I'm such a dork.

Oh my gosh - It Is Well With My Soul - I boo-hoo every single time! Not only because of the back story, but my sister sang it at our Grandpa's funeral. It was his favorite!
