    Mine is Miranda Lambert-Over You

agreed...my boyfriend died last year and this song gets to me...

also I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack...the priest read it at Eric's graveside :)

Extreme - More than words, for pretty much the same reason as tnkimmich. Wish I had thought of having the words read aloud though.

Oh also, I choke up during a great performance of the National Anthem (don't know why, it just gets me) and I've heard Garth Brooks "The Dance" at one too many funerals of young people (friends in high school who died in car accidents, etc) and I can NOT hear it without crying and thinking of them.

    Time After Time--Cyndi Lauper

    Moon River--Tony Bennett

Amazing Grace--but only when played on the bagpipes. (I know I'm a weirdo)

Wind Beneath My Wings--Played at too many Army retirement ceremonies--those were usually very emotional days

The National Anthem too--I really bawl when it includes a jet fighter fly-over afterwards.

When The Stars Go Blue - The Corr's featuring Bono

    - My brother is the best and is always there for me no matter what. When I got married (now divorced) My brother and I danced to that song at my wedding. The chorus "Where do you go when you're lonely I follow you" it makes me cry (sometimes my brother too) it makes me always think of my brother and how much i love him!!!!

"When You Go" by Jonathan Coulton. The entire song is vocals, there are no instruments. It gets me all choked up when I hear it.

Also "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts. That song played on the radio a lot right around the time my Grandma passed away so it made me sad everytime I heard it.

Also "Our Farewell" by Within Temptation.

This is a song my mom used to sing to us kids. I don't know where it came from, but it was so sad. I got tears just reading it.

    Babes in the Woods

    One bright summer day
    Two children at play
    Got lost in the woods
    I’ve heard people say
    They sighed and they sighed
    Till they bitterly cried
    And the poor little things
    They laid down and died

    And when they were dead
    The robin so red
    Brought strawberry leaves
    And over them spread
    And sang them a song
    All the day long
    Poor babes in the woods
    Poor babes in the woods

Adele - Make you feel my love
(I was at Red Lobster having dinner with my husband one night and I heard this in the background and had to run to the bathroom so the waiter wouldn't see me crying like a blubbering idiot THEN when I got to the restroom it was playing SO LOUD in there so I stood in the stall telling myself "Calm down idiot!!" until the song was over so I could regain composure.) LOL!

The Cure - Pictures of you
(My favorite band of all time. Favorite song of all time. When I see them in concert or hear this on the radio tears immediately stream down my face.)

I don't really tear up, but this one pulls on the heartstrings. The singer died in 2004. It's on one of TSO's Christmas Albums.

Music Box Blues - TSO w/ Diamond Daryl Pediford doing the vocals.

    Here's three versions:

    Diamond Daryl from the album/DVD

Tribute after his passing, band playing to his recorded vocals:

Performed by Chloe Lowrey & TSO - Give this one to past the 1:30 mark before you give up on it, she's incredible!
