    But I buy gala when honeycrisps are harder to find (out of season). I prefer a tarter apple but my husband prefers a sweeter apple and both are a good compromise.

    I love MacIntosh and Spartans and hate Delcious, red or golden. I've never heard of Honeycrisp before - they don't seem to sell them in my area.
