I don't think 31 is old enough to be a cougar.
but it could be the fact that I'm 32....

Been there, done that. It was fun while it lasted, but not something I could do long term.

I don't think that's enough of an age difference to label anyone a cougar (it's less than 10 years....)

I was quite the cougar hunter in my younger days. My cougar senses still work after all those years though. I smell cougar.

That would be a 'puma' - not quite old enough to be a cougar (typically 35+) but still likes dating younger men.

Thank you to Urban Dictionary  http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=puma

The formula is (apparently) Half your age + 7 years. So 32 would be 16+7= 23

    Maybe if you were 41?
I don't see the appeal of young guys though, they're too......unfinished. Now older men...

Not cougar. Cougars are generally 40's and up and NOT looking for long term relationships, and like the guys MUCH younger.
