Uh this is so annoying....I was at a Memorial Day Party and these 2 educated adults were telling me how they are going to start this new HCG thing and I when I told them I had a better idea for them
don't eat crap and start exercising----they both looked at me like I was the idiot. I was told well their doctor was putting them on it. Their Doctor should lose his license for that.
Will see what happens when I see them on Labor Day. The sad thing is neither one looked like they had that much to lose anyway...maybe 30-40 pounds at the most.0 -
The Secret Diet Drops plan is a natural safe way for dieters to lose their unhealthy weight. It works by suppressing your appetite and accelerating your metabolism turning your body into a perfect fat burning machine. The main reason dieters on the Secret Diet Drops plan lose weight faster is because the diet drops contain only natural amino acids that are powerful appetite suppressants.
The Secret Diet Drops come with a diet plan. You can either follow the plan for 21 days or upto 46 days depending on your goal weight.
How many people naturally ingest an extract from the urine of a pregnant woman daily whilst eating less than your brain alone needs to function? How natural is that?0 -

Please use the search function..... there are about 400 of these HCG topics that go on for PAGES AND PAGES.... this post is just going to open the flood gates for all kinds of comments.... get ready for the assault..... some people are going to be not so nice with this topic....
Actually anymore it's rare to even see an HCG thread, most people who support it have either left the site or stopped promoting it (or my theory, they're too weak to type anymore). So all that arguing and fighting kind of paid off. Most people here know it's dangerous and unsustainable and only every now and then do you see a new user asking about the plan.
Once the truth about HCG hits the light of day it's pretty obvious it's not good for anyone.0 -
It's a big fat con. Don't do it. Following MFP principles will get you better results in the long run.0

yeh now ive heard about it properly i wont be trying them!! thank u for all yr thoughts guys :flowerforyou:0

I don't think it should be used unless a doctor tells you its ok and or your need to loose weight really fast for health reasons. I think that if you can limit yourself to 500 calories a day you should be able to cut out a couple hundred calories off of what you are currently eating a day to loose the weight. However, your personal outlook and reasons for dieting have to do with your choice. HCG is a something you take to help you burn the fat you already have and is supposed to limit the amount of muscle you burn while you limit yourself to 500 calories a day. However, once you stop taking the suppliment you are probably going to gain the weight back because you didn't get used to a permanent diet, but instead ate like you were trying to put your body in starvation mode.
So I think it would be better if you did not do the HCG diet, unless you have talked to a doctor about it.0 -
the secret is that it isn't FDA approved because it has been deemed to be dangerous... your body needs a certain amount of calorie intake to function even if you are in a coma - with these drops you don't even come half way to that amount needed...
As someone else said, this should be a lifestyle chance and not a quick fix - research shows that a massive percentage of peeps who do fast diets will gain 150% back what they have lost.
You want life long lasting results? Eat a healthy high nutrient lower calorie (though keep it at least to what your body would need in a coma state) and create yourself an exercise routine which consists of cardio + strength training.0 -
to be honest if i could only eat the 500 cals a day i wouldnt be fat to begin with.... lol i personally could not do 500 cals a day0

Another one saved. High fives all around!0 -
500 cals a day is only for stage two tho...
No it's not.. it's for the whole diet... until you reach what weight you want, and then up the calories to a healthy level.
You take the drops(which do nothing BTW) and eat 500 calories per day.. and your not supposed to exercise either.
What's the point of the drops if they do nothing? The main part of getting healthy is eating right and exercising. I don't understand why people don't realize fad diets are just that. Majority gain the weight back because they don't learn how to eat right and get active.0 -

Can I drink HGC or the pregnancy Hormone. And still eat over 500 calories a day? I saw this web site with videos and these girls were drinking the non extract HGC, they seemed really in shape.
also they were nudie.0 -
