IF your boys are anything like mine they feel the need to take care of their mom anyways... my son is 4 and thinks that he needs to take care of me. Last night i put him to bed he was devistated... because he didnt get to cuddle with me long enough *cue heart melting here* 0 -
You know how much I love hugs!!! Yes, my oldest boy especially feels it is his responsibility to take care of me.
Do you know how much I love that, but also just want him to enjoy his teen years without worrying about me?0 -
unfortunatly you cannot control how he feels sometimes its just easier to allow people to want to help and take care of us than it is trying to force them not too. (coming from a family that has virtually no contact with each other) It probably gives him a sense of pride and responsibility that he wouldnt find elsewhere other than being on his own.

I guess for the most part he doesn't. I used to think it was a bad thing that he grew up/matured so fast. I've realized it can be a good thing too. I hope my daughter in law will thank me some day....LOL0 -
