I was set on being a horse trainer - right up until filling out the college application to my school of choice. Thankfully, I had a flash of reality and realized horses are my hobby, not a career.

as a kid, teen, whatever, I'm sure 95 percent of us did not want to be what we are now.

What did you want to be? (beyond ballerinas and firefighters)

I always wanted to be a dentist. Then it turned into being a forensic dentist... I have a weird obsession with teeth.

No way! I totally wanted to be a dentist too!!! I actually went to school for it, but then changed career paths this year. Might still do that someday.

When I was younger I wanted to be an OB/GYN, surgeon. I wanted to deliver babies.
When I got older I wanted to be an ARNP/PA for dermatology. (that is still my goal)!! I love skin and helping people look better.
I am currently working for a GP and love my job, but would love to be my own boss.

I still think today this would be fun...

or just to be a drunken idiot on MTV... apparently they make some good coin for that.

A spy. I would wire up the living room to eavesdrop on the adults' conversations. I spent a lot of time learning how to move around silently (it's habit now, and I regularly scare the living daylights out of my husband). Learned how to shoot guns. Studied etiquette. Learned to drive a stick shift (for that hot European sports car I'd have to hightail it in someday).

    Ended up majoring in Accounting.

Got a job as an auditor.
