tamara-- awww-- kisses to your baby goin' off to kindergarten--

I just had REAL Mexican food, made by REAL Mexicans with REAL Mexican customers, Spanish speaking and everything, and REAL Spanish television on in the place--

    Too freakin' cool--

No sour cream/guacamole/refried beans crapola like they try to schlep back east....

this was delicious-- oh my gosh--  pork burrito-- with the lettuce/tomatoes and a bit of cheese inside-- totally, totally delish. I even put a dab of the hottttt green sauce on it-- figured I'd spice up my life a little--

that's me-- I walk on the wild side, babies--

Heading out to run....had a great storm blow through earlier, it is cool and lovely right now.

Have a great night-- I'm doin' my pushups, Batman-- fear not!!

    Later, gang!

    Mexican.....YUMMMY!

Wish I coulda been there Marla,
Laughing it up with Marla over some mexican food sounds like a good way to spend an afternoon.

YUMMY!!!! I love mexican food, could seriously eat it for every meal and not get tired of it. The restaurant here in the town very close to us is real Mexican food. The owners got their American citizenship a few years ago and he was so very proud. The food there is so very very yummy!

Went for a walk / run this afternoon. I didn't want to but made myself get the girls in the car, get the bike loaded up and get the stroller in. Between pushing the stroller and running burnt 300 calories in 40 minutes. It felt good. There is a 5K coming up here in about three weeks and I was excited but now I think I am chickening out. :embarassed:

You should do the 5k. Even if you don't run the whole thing you'll have such a great time! oh come on..... DO IT!

He's going to be riding the bus, and he's such a little peanut, i;m worried. and i found out his bus goes to like 3 different schools, what if he gets off at the wrong one? what if someone is mean to him? oh man...this is gonna suck :frown:

I know he's a peanut. but he'll be ok. Hang in there mummy.

Good evening everyone! Hope all is well in the land of the Blank Team!

Tamara-Your daughter is adorable! Mine was supposed to start kindergarten this year but we held her back because we still are working out the kinks of her having ADHD. She is doing much better but I feel we have a ways to go yet. Plus for some reason she still won't go pee in the bathroom like she is supposed to. She spends more time holding it until it's almost too late! And Congrats on your Anniversary! You have done amazing!

Kati-I bet it was cool to meet Bob. That would be so awesome too!

Hello to everyone else! Sorry I have been MIA but I have been so wore out from working that all I want to do is come home and go to bed. Have a great night!

Hey all. Trudging along this week. Not really back into the swing of things but not totally on hiatus anymore either. Somewhere in the middle. The kids start back to school Monday, routine, I like.

Kati- meeting Bob would be awesome, I like him, but gotta admit, if I had to pick a trainer it'd be Jillian.

Tamara- your little girl is really cute. Glad to hear you made it through your first day with both kiddos gone. Trust me. It's heaven. Enjoy it! It's the best of both worlds, time for you and then you enjoy them when they get home. When all of mine were finally in school I realized I could have a life.

Roni- glad to hear you are healing, exercise will be back before you know it.

Renae- keep your head up, that work schedule has to be rough

The rest of my Black Team, hope you have a good one!

Thanks guys. Seeing, meeting and getting to talk to Bob was definitely a high. I was so star struck. Definitely the most famous person I've ever met / talked to. He was the same in person as he is on t.v. Great sense of humor, passionate, passionate, passionate. Can't wait for the new season to start. It starts 9/15. In the picture I posted, there is a gal sitting in the right corner. She has a black tank and a khaki skirt on. Anyway, her name is Rebeccah and she is from DesMoines, IA. She is a contestant on the season that will be starting soon. She had her sport bra tan going on as well as her HRM. It was awesome. I spoke to her for a bit too. Bob spoke on Saturday here and he said they'd just finished filming the night before. I can't wait. Have I said that? Bob spoke very highly of Jillian. From what he said about the new season, there's an extremely heartbreaking story regarding one of the women contestants (get your tissues ready...I won't give it away though. Plus, I can't think about it without crying.) And, this season will have the heaviest contestant EVER! HER starting weight was 400 something.

Happy Anniversary to you! You've done such amazing things this past year! I'm so very proud of you!

And, your daughter is darling. Cherish that photo of her. You'll be shocked at the difference when you compare her first day with her last day of K. I know I was with Tenley.

that is so strange, maybe you are eating something different an djust don't know. like, if you always eat bread, maybe its a new kind. or you are eating more of it. maybe try changing your diet up a bit...maybe your body is processing things differently with how far you have come. if it concerns you you can see a doc. but i would mix it up for a day or two and see what happens.

i know too many veggies make me bloated!

congrats on all your hard work and your year anniversary!!!

Ok I have been kinda a quiet black team member. But after taking a few weeks off I am back ready to go. I have 16 lbs to lose to be in the healthy BMI. So that is the goal. I am doing a tough 12 man running relay in 8 weeks. So I am getting back on the wagon and will be training and eating healthy for the next 8 weeks and see if I can lose those 16 lbs.
I love reading ya'll posts and feel like a lot of us are down to the last 15 lbs or so. I need the encouragement and support, and hopefully I can give some out as well.

PS Here is a little about me since I feel like I know a lot about ya'll from reading your posts.
Obviously my name is Sarah. I am a 30 year mother of 3 little boys. (6, 4,1) Married and stay at home. I now live in Utah, but was in Texas for the 6 years before that.
I love to run. I ran a marathon once. I also have done a few triathlons(2 sprint and 1 Olympic distance). I love to train and compete in races. I am really competitive So I love the challenge on here. So I really do pretty good at the exercise part but am still struggling with the eating. I have lost almost 40 lbs this summer by entering a local city "biggest loser" competition. And ended up taking 5th out of 163. So when it was a competition I did good on the eating. But when it ended almost 3 weeks ago I have had a hard time get motivated to journal my food. I am starting again today though. I am going to try and post something on here everyday so that you guys know I have journaled my food for the day. So if you don't hear from me feel free to send me a message to get my butt in gear.

Just got back from a 2 mile run / walk. I went a little over halfway of the 4 miles I wanted to and stopped at my mom's to get some water and that was a mistake. I got dizzy and was shaky and had to have my husband come pick me up. I guess I shouldn't run in the sun in the afternoon. Oh well, at least I burnt 350 calories in 33 minutes. I was happy with that.

Need to go do my jumping jacks!

Hope everybody is having a great Tuesday!!!:flowerforyou:

Amanda-Glad your ok. Dizzy is scary.

Annaliza-Keep running lady! it's great stuff

Jeannie-I know what you mean. I flat out beat myself silly at the gym today and I LOVED it.
Tried a dry run at the Duathlon. Didnt quite complete it. Ran two miles on the treadmill, rode 15 miles on the stationary bike and then "tried" to run three more miles on the treadmill. Difference is...The wonderful seat I have on my bike and the horrific excuse for a seat that is on the stationary bike at the gym are two very different things. So things didnt go well when I got back on the treadmill. It was kinda like trying to run after someone repeatedly punched your *kitten* for an hour. I felt like john wayne in one of those old westerns and the "john wayne" walk does NOT work at a run speed. lol

Burned off 1500 calories so it's not a complete loss.

    lol

Have a good night my black team!
