Lose inches, not weight?

I can definitely relate to this thread. I have been walking 3.2 miles 4-5 days a week for a couple of months now. Although I feel A LOT stronger, especially in my legs, I have not shed ONE POUND. I have taken maybe an inch off my waist (not sure the rest because I haven't measured). I have not been great about nutrition tracking. I know I need to be better about calories in..but I would have though all those miles would translate into at least a few pounds shed. Any thoughts are welcome...how do I finally get the pounds to come off?0
