For what I 'get', I make a decent living... but I have a family to support and a house note and car note and a million zillion unforseen things that crop up, so it's still paycheck-paycheck for me.

I was gonna leave that up to whoever replied. I was just curious to hear from people who were happy to be making whatever they are for what they're doing.

For me, I don't really know. $100k is a milestone I've thought about trying to hit, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

I make a descent living...single Dad holding his own.
The "needs" are met.
The "wants" from the kids however...that's a different story.

I do very well in my field and I worked VERY hard to get here and put a lot of wear and tear on my body (mostly in the form of airplane miles and LOTS of food which is why I found myself at 340lbs). But I was able to switch into a different position and no more travel. I think I do great and after I am done paying off my ex-wife all her alimony (stupid california why do I have to pay a woman who cheated on ME) I'll get a very nice BUMP in monthly income. Plus, I cook and clean and I kinda do laundy (i need somone to fold it or else it just gets stuffed in the drawers)

I do well enough so that my wife does not have to work and I can afford a few toys.

Wait, why do you have to pay someone who cheated on you? As for your field. Hm, guessing, engineer? Or maybe regional or national manager?

Okay, wild guesses due to people I know in these fields. Mostly, I'm just boggling at the idea of paying someone who cheated on me anything. That's freaking ridiculous.
