Mixed greens
Any fruit (Strawberries, sauteed pears, etc)
Any stinky cheese like bleu cheese, You can also use feta.
Any crunch. Usually nuts, but can be sunflower seeds or even crispy pieces of bacon.
Slightly sweet dressing. I like a balsamic glaze with no oil but you could use rasberry vinegarette etc

i put a bag of ready pac baby spinach spring mix with broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sugar snap peas, cherrub tomatoes, mushrooms and cucumbers. Then for the dressing i mix equal parts fresh lemon juice to olive oil (the more expensive kind) and about 2-4 cloves of garlic depending on how much salad you are making. you can top of with parmesean cheese and crutons if youd like, but its good without. I also put in avocado and cranberries, but not everyone likes those things0

Recepie? For salad? I throw a bowl on the scale and start adding stuff (weighing and logging each) until I run out of things to add. All depends in what looks good to me that day. Examples include romaine, spinach, iceberg, red onion, white onion, grilled chicken, steak, eggs, hot peppers, bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, grapes, raisins, cranberries, tuna fish, celery, carrots, crutons (rare), grilled peppers, zucchini, etc.
I do make my own balsamic vinegrette, as a 5:1 vinegar:oil mix (very light on the oil) with herbs, ground mustard and a couple chopped garlic cloves.0
