Is there a goat farm nearby or did you just workout?

I used to use Dove, but it did not work for me when I started working out -- I've switched to Degree.0 -

2nd this!! My sister is the same when working out and she uses this! U can get a pack of 3 at costco for a very good price.0 -
This might sound silly, but when I know I'm going to REALLY sweat, like prior to a 90 minute+ workout, particularly outside(I'm in Florida), I wear Mens deodorant, the kind that's heat-activated and fairly heavily scented, like Degree.
I haven't found a Womens deodorant that works quite as well so far. I can wear a little of that and not even have to use a body spray, I'll smell just fine even after my workout and not slimey/wet.
I've had friends come over while I was still sweat-soaked and they thought I'd been in the sprinkler system instead of working out.0 -
After years and years of searching for a good deodorant, I've found that Ban works for me.0

I think I fall into the "stinky & proud" category after a workout.0

I use Tom's Natural, but it doesn't do a great job. If anyone has any non-aluminum tips which are effective, please share!0

yup yup!! i go right up to my husband, shove my armpit in his face and say "do i stink?!" (of course he likes to wipe his sweaty face on me when i'm clean) :laugh:0 -
OK, missed the point of this thread... I actually live near a goat farm. LOL0

Degree always works great for me!0

There's not a lot comes between me and a hot shower after I work out, so can't say I get a chance to become whiffy, regardless of how wet I am? I only use natural Pit Rok, which allows you to sweat, but inhibits the bacteria that causes odours.0

Stinky is good!0

Degree is the best that I've found so far. I'm one of those weird people that can only wear a certain brand then have to switch it up after the stick is gone. But with Degree I don't seem to have that problem.0

Third this! But, I use the unscented variety for sensitive skin. Fragrances always give me rashes. :-(0 -
I switched to non-aluminum as well. I use a deodorant crystal stick. It lets you sweat without stinking, and you can reapply it whenever. Also, it doesn't stain clothing or anything.

For women...I agree with Secret Clinical Strength
But just don't get the Marathon Sport scent.. It smells worse than the BO you might already have.0 -

Me too.0 -
I love my dove, but I use an Adidas antiperspirant when I work out. I mean, it won't stop the sweat completely, but I can't say I've ever left the gym reeking, either.0

Stinky is good!
^^This! If I come home non-sweaty and clean smelling I know I've done something wrong. In fact the grosser I feel physically the better I feel about my work out. I think it goes without saying I don't bother with deoderant before working out. I just take a shower after.0 -

I second the third, but minus the rashes.0 -
I tried both the Secret Clinical Strength and the Degree Clinical Strength, and could not tolerate the high levels of aluminum in them. I use the Degree Ultra Clear, and that works pretty well. I also use a little FDS for sweat that may not be coming from my pits!0

Just switched to a deodorant stone. I only use it once per day and it was CHEAP. Not only am I NEVER stinky anymore (and I work out a LOT), but it is completely non toxic. sadly, the same cannot be said for most deodorants. Here is thier website:

Don't you want to sweat? Isn't that the point? Who cares how soaked your clothes are, everyone in the gym or where ever, will think you worked your *kitten* off to get that way.
As for B.O. armpit funk is much more tollerable that sweaty nasty *kitten* funk!!! I have been stuck next to people at the gym, who smell like they need a lesson in Wiping/Washing of the Rear 1010 -
People sweat when the work out -- so what? I just use the same deodorant I use for every day. After I work out I take a shower. ??0
-
I use mens deodorant like Sure but really don't tend to go anywhere after the gym except the shower!! And if I do then I'm in my gym stuff with my gym bag and a face like a tomato - go figure where I've been then you'll know why I smell
Stinky and Proud :drinker:0 -
If I workout in public, say at a health club, I'll shower BEFORE I work out. If the bacteria is already there, your sweat is just going to feed it and here comes the stench! I also shower afterwards and I use deodorant.
If you can smell yourself, others can too, and I HATE B.O. Yuck. lol0 -
Wow! I love all the great replies and the funny comments! You guys are great. Never really thought about Men's deodorant. Thanks for all of the help!0
