*Airports are the places where I feel peaceful, completely part of the universe, fulfilled and attachments.- free (normal people would prefer forests or desert islands or trips to India, not me!)

I think we need to go to the airport together.

I can't sleep without being covered by something. I'm not talking pajamas (cause frankly, I don't wear them 99.9% of the time) but a sheet or blanket HAS to cover me or I can't sleep. Doesn't matter how hot it is, I need to be covered. I'll stick a leg out from under it if I'm warm, but my back needs to be covered, and I'll pull the covers back on myself (sometimes incoherently and still unconscious) if I feel them come off.

This is another one of mine that I forgot about.

    Man, I have a lot.

Eating in a circle around a sandwich or burger. And not biting it, but ripping little pieces off the edges until it is gone.

When I was little I was convinced that the middle of a sandwich or burger is absolutely the best part and I should savor that last piece. Now it's just become a habit!

This is true, it absolutely IS the best bite!

Yes it is! I do this too. :)
    Let's see.

I straighten/groom people a lot. I'll just be talking and notice a hair, tag, wrinkle and I just have to fix it. It doesnt really matter who it is or our comfort level with each other. Lol

I can't stand mustard. Makes me wretch. If I'm doing dishes and touch any i wig out and jump around. I will however eat Deviled eggs even though I know mustard is in it. I just don't want to see them made or talk about it before hand.

I break out into dance. Often.

I cannot stand to leave a door open. Cabinet doors, closet doors. Drawers that aren't closed all the way.

ehm, I am the one that always leave high pantry doors or drawers opened :D My homemate once told me "OK, WHAT ABOUT A POST IT *MIND YOUR HEAD*!? since you cannot close them!!"

♥ If I take a flower or leaf from a tree or plant, or harvest anything for that matter, I have to thank said plant, tree, earth......If I have to trim a plant or tree, I have to tell it I am sorry for having to cut it.....

♥ When I am at a stop light, I always stare up at the sky from my sunroof (I always have it open, unless its pouring)

♥ When a Hurricane or major storm is blowing in, I must go stand outside and feel the energy of it

♥ When I am mowing my grass, I watch out for honey bees, and if I see one on a dandelion, I stop and wait until it moves on...(This might be because I am a beekeeper♥)

These are actually really hard to think of, I have so many, but they just seem normal to me, cause they are me♥

These are not quirks...this is LIVING and enjoying the simple things in life. I heart you so much!

I say things out of the blue that have nothing to do with the conversation...or so it seems to others. As I'm listening to people, part of my attention will start to wander and I'll end up 9 degrees sideways from the actual topic, but it all connects somehow. :blushing:

I MUST read before I go to sleep--even if I'm exhausted and could probably crash before my head hits the pillow. I'll read one page or so and then fall asleep with the book in my hand.

I fold those too. And straw papers get folded in half and then half and half.
...and then stretched out like an accordian and folded the opposite way.... at least I do.

-I can't have my blankets on my bed tucked in. It drives me nuts.
-I also need my pillow flattened. I never buy new pillows of rmy bed. I wait til someone else buys new pillows and steal their old ones.
-I hate having anything on my feet. The second I walk in the door my shoes and socks come off.
-If I have eggs over easy I won't eat them if the yolks break before I dip my toast in it

I have a million more I can't think of them though

Oh, I eat ice cream like a freakin' snail. I did it when I was younger because it was how I got to stay up later and the habit stayed with me all these years.

I hate birds. They freak me out. :frown:
I hate touching most, but not all, painted surfaces and some metal surfaces. When i have to get my daughter's paintings from day care, I pick them up by the edge, not the painted part.
I hate eating meat that has bones in it.

I can't stand it when people fold a crease in paper (equivalent to nails on a chalkboard). It makes me a little gaggy and if they do it I feel like my skin is dry and I have to put lotion on my hands to settle my stomach. - This is a frequent occurence since I work in a law office.

Oh. I have to color coordinate things like M&Ms or Skittles before I eat them.

I hate the feel of leather. I cant sit on a leather couch or car seat with shorts or a skirt on cuz the feel of it against my legs is bothersome.

I hate it when people close the shower curain, drives me crazy,

It also drives me crazy when people don't put the cap back on the toothpaste

I eat the outer portion of a candy bar first - like the chocolate off the Three Muskateers - then the middle stuff - or the chocolate from a peanutbutter cup, then the peanut butter.

My niece does this. Drives me crazy because she gets covered in it and I have to scrub her afterwards.

I just do as another poster does- eat one item until it's gone, and then move on to the next food until the dinner is gone. I actually never noticed I did it, until my ex pointed it out- Nothing makes you more self-conscious than someone pointing it out!!

I also have a hard time with the feel of certain fabrics/linens. I have actually delayed buying a cover for my Nook, because half of the covers have this weird feel - I don't like it, and sorta freak out from it. Most people don't know THIS about me.

The two things most of my friends and family know about me: I do not squish bugs - especially if they will make a crunching sound. It will NOT happen. stems from an event in childhood. the other one is I can't STAND to have my nails filed, or for someone else to file their nails in front of me- if I can hear it, it TOTALLY freaks me out, and I have to plug my ears, and fist up my hands, and it's just not good..not good at all. no mani/pedis for me!

When eating candies, it has to be in even number (2 at a time)
If one of my hands get wet, the other one has to be too
I'm a zit picker, bf hates it
I eat my plates by starting with the least interesting food to finish with the best
Heavy sounds except for concerts drives me nuts, like when at bf's mom's, she watches tv with the sound so loud, I have to breathe in not to kill anything.
