Brownies are getting a lot of love in this thread and I agree whole heartedly. Yum. The Nigella walnut ones are lush.

I spent my first 25 years or so being skinny. Everything tastes better. Except maybe artichoke.

Kate Moss is famous for making that statement and I bet she could tell some things that 'taste' good that also helped to keep her skinny and unhealthy looking.

In the long run, the quote is right. I surely don't always agree with Kate Moss, but she's right with that point. Food is nice, but only makes me happy in a short term.

That trite saying has always annoyed me. If it was as simple as a meaningless saying, we would all be thin.

Nothing tastes as good as being healthy and in good shape feels, but you can have both! Yummy food and a hot body.

At the moment, I feel like nothing tastes as good, as being healthy feels. I'm really enjoying my success. But I'm sure there will be something out there that will be so amazing I can't resist a bite.

    Steak
    Peaches and cream cheese
Warm brownie with hot fudge sauce.

Anything else, I could easily refuse.

IF this saying was actually true then how come Kate Moss (the originator) always looks so miserable?

I don't want to be skinny. Who would feel good being skin and bones with a small layer of adipose tissue? They should change it to nothing tastes as good as being strong and healthy feels.

    Lame alert.

Everything in moderation tastes just like healthy feels, I think. Food always tastes better when you've deprived yourself, so the actual "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" saying is absolutely untrue. I went vegetarian for lent one year and can say that absolutely nothing tasted better than that bacon wrapped filet on Easter.

I like the saying, it makes me giggle cause it is almost true. A brownie definitely is to die for! However, the feeling of that only lasts a couple minutes. The joy you get from being heathly and looking great in your clothes will definitely last a lot longer (as long as you dont eat like 15 brownies LOL)! With that said I eat brownies/desserts as much as I can as long as it fits into my calories, most days LOL!

    All food.

I love cooking, I love trying new things, and yes, I love eating. We have to do it in order to live, so why not enjoy it? I do make sure I don't overindulge and that I'm generally eating healthy foods. But I never hesitate to eat. And, I'm 10 pounds lighter than I have been in over 4 years, so I'm not afraid that my love of food is going to keep me from reaching a healthier weight.

Can't remember how skinny feels so I wouldn't know! Lol. Guessing once I get there though not many foods could taste better than that would feel! X
