"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels "

I like the statement. To me, it really is true. All those things that I probably should not have eaten or ate too much were not worth the extra weight it caused me to put on. I feel so much better now that I've lost most of my excess weight. It really does feel awesome and it lasts all day everyday. Whereas, a brownie only satisfies me for a few seconds then I want another and another. I do eat a lot of food I love though, and it's about finding a balance for me.0

Agree. Those who want to be skinnier then they are is much more likely to feel bad after eating something high calorie but feel great when refusing it enough to meet their skinny goal.0
-
my mothers home cooked spanish meals... but meeting my goal out weighs wanting to grab a bowl and eat everything she makes.0
-
I used to think that statement was crazy. But now I totally agree. I prefer to the slim to eating huge amounts of high calories foods.0
-
I don't care for the statement as it encourages people to deprive themselves of occasional treats in order to be skinny. Now, I feel that I can have a little bit of it every once in a while and it won't derail me too much if I account for it in my calories.0

I am enjoying all the food pix. They make me sick to my stomach and remind me of how my health is not what it was before eating things bad for my health, body, and mind. Makes me not want any of it ever again. . :flowerforyou:0

Okay who really agrees with this statement? My mothers brownies taste way better to me than what skinny feels...
What is your food that you love more than being "skinny"?
Healthy is the new skinny!!!
Eat well, Sleep well, Exercise, Meditate/Pray, Have a hobby, Make friends.0 -
Oh my, that's a tough one. My mom's stuffed ribeye. It's sinful.0
-
Honestly? Nothing. I really would give up my favorite foods if it meant being thin forever!
But I HATE that saying.. just promotes such a negative way of thinking, imo.0 -

Lol I just had a Mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream...pretty sure it tasted better than skinny:bigsmile: But then again I have no desire to be skinny!!!!!! I want to be fit and strong...and the occasional frappuccino fits right into that plan!:drinker:0 -
"Nothing tastes as good as bacon."

Nothing tastes as good as cheesecake feels all over my body.
Hahaha, made me laugh out loud.0 -

Yeah, it makes a "thin vs. food" mentality that's not healthy. >.<0 -
Caramel covered c**k
I like the way you think. :glasses:
I prefer chocolate covered c**k0 -
Loads of stuff tastes that good. It's just a stupid pro-anorexia mantra.

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, especially when you can eat the stuff you like and still be skinny.0
-
Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels .. except for chocolate fudge cake heated up a little bit with icecream and chocolate sauce !!!
And some caramel please! Except maybe a brownie instead of chocolate fudge cake.
Or chili cheese fries from fuddruckers. mmmmmmmm0 -
i completely, whole-heartedly, 100% agree with this statement. being skinny comes with so many perks - you're less self conscious, you can relax around guys because you don't have to be sucking your stomach in the whole time and worrying what they think of your body, you're happy for people to pick you up because you know your weight won't break their backs or whatever, and you know that if you have a bad food day and eat too much then it doesn't matter too much because you can just cut back the next day and it won't have really affected your overall weight. and, probably the most important thing, you get drunk quicker and easier because you're such a lightweight, so you spend less money on alcohol0
-
I'm struggling to understand why it can't taste as good as it feels.0
-
oh ice cream for sure, brie cheese....and all other cheese...dark chocolate0
-
Bacon cheeseburger with bleu cheese....mmmmmmmmmmm
Enchiladas, tacos, burritos.... really any kind of Tex Mex or authentic Mexican food.
Brownies
Hot Tamales (the candy)
mmmmmmm I want food now.0 -
I don't agree with this statement at all. It's something you will see on every pro-anorexia site there is, and it's really not a positive belief to live by - as if being skinny is more important than eating! And by "skinny" they probably mean "20 lbs underweight"...
Also, it's perfectly possible to eat tasty food and stay thin and healthy.0 -
I'm struggling to understand why it can't taste as good as it feels.
Bingo!0 -
To me, it should be 'nothing tastes as good as slim feels'. I don't want to be skinny.
But you're right. Nothing tastes better than food.0 -
I don't see why skinny and yummy food can't coexist peacefully0
-
Nothing tastes as good as cheesecake feels all over my body.
