    I noticed that too.
Even when I'm under my goal calorie intake for the day.
I think sometimes the water (Powerade 0) adds some weight.
But I think if you watch the sodium/calorie intake then things should balance out.
    over the week/months.
at least thats what I'm hoping for =D

Seriously?? because you eating, and putting things into your body... a cup of tea weighs 2 pounds

What the hell is your tea made of?

*I think 2 cups of water would be 1 lb..

    Gravity!
    huh?????????????????????????:noway:

    YA - GRAVITY??? hmmmmm LMAO

I was going to say the same... but then I thought maybe our bodies are sort of tidal; maybe the rotation of the earth as it spins on its axis may have some effect. Perhaps a denser part of the earth's crust is facing towards the sun and causing eddies in the space time continuum. Or something.

Or maybe you had a cup of that tea everyone's discussing.

You're kidding right? You think you'll weigh the same at the end of the day after eating as long as you are under some magical number of calories?

I dunno about that. if you put water or powerade 0 on a scale, wouldn't the scale say 0? that's why above-ground swimming pools have to be dismantled in the winter, so they don't blow away, and so the neighborhood rapscallions don't walk away with them.

I gain up to 7 pounds morning to night, Its normal :)

7lbs! Yikes. That's a lot of fluid to retain.

1 gallon of water is 8.4 pounds, approximately. So many other variables. Some of us weigh once a week. YOu will lose weight in God's time, not by your schedule.

When you wake up you are basically at your most dehydrated point of the day...it's normal you weight less at that point. Remember 1 liter of water weights 2.2 lbs....

    maybe this is the reason!

i drink 2 liter per day... is that too much water?

only if it's a 32 oz cup of tea :)

I love weighing multiple times a day and it doesn't discourage me in anyway. It's fun. I can fluctuate as much as 15 lbs between my lightest and heaviest point during a day. As long as the general movement of the scale is down and the mirror is offering up more compliments I'm happy.

Everyone goes up and down.. some quite a bit! Most is water, (you are most dehydrated in the morning after ot eating or drinking ofr 8 hours) but it also is determined by how much urine and feces you have in your body at the time. Weigh yourself in the morning, after you pee, before you dress and do it ONLY once a week or less (if you want to see more results)

I dont own a scale because like you, i would be on it 5 times a day wondering if what i just ate caused me to gain.. or if i weighed less after i pooped. lol

I weigh at my mother in law's once a week on Friday mornings! =)

Dont stress so much! You are more likely to set yourself up for failure if you do!

The true answer that no one had the heart to tell you was that your diet is faulty.

    Start eating less.
