exercising or eating right?

I think it is more about the diet than the exercise. But as for myself, I have to have a consistent combination of both or my best case scenario will be zero weight gain or loss.0

You can't out-train a bad diet.
I agree. Excerise and diet go hand and hand, but diet would be the dominent hand. Atleast that's what I believe.0 -
Do the math. As an example, lets assume you eat 600 calories in a normal dinner for the day. In order to work just dinner off you would have to run about 5 miles (as 1 mile is about 125 clories on average). You can't possibly exercise in a day long or hard enough to work off what you can eat in calories. That said, always balance and don't go to either extreme and all will work out.0
