Some nice rides here, folks! I am literally drooling at my PC (or maybe that is just my nose running with this head cold?)
I'm on a Giant hybrid, fine for what I do in terms of riding, but would love to upgrade to a road bike at some stage in the future. Will have to wait until youngest finishes university at the end of next year.....0 -

I rescued this CAD2 from a consignment shop. Broke it down to the bare frame: rebuilt with better parts I had lying around. Only the headset, fork, and front derailleur are original to the frame.0

Here's a 1987 SR500 I rebuilt with 1055 STI (up from the original 1050). I sold it last Sunday, though.0

Found a pic of my 1986 SR300. . . completely stripped, and rebuilt (including powder coat) with SRAM Apex.
You too can learn How to Build a Bike in two easy steps:
Step 1
Step 2
19lbs. Not bad for classic aluminum and fairly standard 32 spoke wheels.0 -
I have one more, but first Ineed to re-wrap the bars to make it photogenic0

My bastardized tri/road bike
why bastardized? just curious
BTW if you don't mind my asking how much did your bike set you back? I bought mine used and have about $400 in it ($300 for bike then $100 for shifters and having them and the bars installed) and wonder if it's a good deal.0 -
So far about 1050. Had to replace the cassette and buy new tires, which are currently on the way
. But from what I've been told I got a good deal considering the carbon fiber frame alone with no components is worth about a grand

That's a gorgeous Madone. This is my Trek 2.1. She is my Sexy B!tch. Also a gift from my parents.
I also have a 7.5fx but it's kind of my red headed step child when I compare it to my SB.0 -
