Individual food items don't cause fat loss or fat gain. You should instead focus on total daily intake of calories. As far as food selection goes, choose foods you enjoy eating and it would probably be in your best interest to consume mostly nutrient dense foods like fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, meats, etc etc.0

Secondarily:
Since fat loss is the difference between fat oxidation and fat storage, can you claim why short term fuel sourcing is in any way relevant?0 -
It's the answer nobody wants to hear: Eat less, move more. No one food item or supplement will "boost your metabolism" "blast belly fat" or whatever the latest marketing ploy is. If you are interested in wasting your money on useless supplements that allegedly burn fat faster with no proof, go to Dr. Oz's website, as he is always hawking the latest and greatest supplement and there is (in all seriousness) probably a list of them that he recommends.0

There is no magical food that does this. Eat healthy, eat clean, eat your fruits and veggies, get enough protein, drink lot's of water, and get enough exercise. Ditch the idea that there are foods, pills, supplements, detoxes that will do the work for you. Be consistent with it and you will lose weight!0
