Yes, he does risotto sometimes - I think it's just a lot of stirring. I've never heard of brown arborio rice, either, though. How do you stand on your arm?
We finally got a break in the rain and chilly temps - it's beautiful today! I feel a little bad, though - we went out driving instead of doing something a little more active like hiking. I'll probably head out for a walk later.

It was an obscure pose, CP, because I tried looking it up and had a hard time finding it. I don't know the name - I'm sure it's a variation of a split leg arm balance. This picture is the closest I found - my leg was going straight back instead of to the side (I love the fact that the cat is in the pose):

Yesterday: got almost 2 hours on the bike before it starting raining. Today: yoga and a little bike ride. I'm all stuffy. I don't know if it's from being outside or inside.
I realized that I have a hard time between, restricted diet and eat as much as you want diet. That's my new goal - to eat just enough, so I'm not hungry. I need to lose some more weight and this is how I want to do it.

Just enough, boogaloo.
Story of my life, right there.
Just got back from a training session. I'm all about the boxing now. Seriously. The endorphins are amazing, and the calorie burn is high (what's not to love?)
Also, it's date night tonight, so just enough red wine boogaloo.:flowerforyou:

Hi!
Yesterday we had fun watching our friend skydive from 2 miles up. I will never do it but I will watch people do it. I might try parasailing or something like that, but not the freefalling stuff. They said 1 out of 3 people throw up on them. Gross.
We had church this morning, Mexican food for lunch, and we're about to take Alex to his first movie! It's the Toy Story 3D double feature. I will be surprised if we make it through the 2nd movie. He's seen both before, so I don't think it will startle him too much. I hope the 3D stuff doesn't seem scary for him. I'm a little nervous. He also has super sensitive hearing, like a dog's, so I hope his little ears can handle it. I told DH that I am bringing headphones to help block some of the noise, and he just laughed at me like I'm being overprotective. Does he want peace this afternoon? Then he better try to help in any way he can. Alex will be missing his nap so I hope this isn't a disaster!
Cooler weather and rain here. Hope I can go walking some this week. My saddlebags have collected more, so my jeans are tight in the hips. :grumble:
See you all tomorrow!
