i don't know where you live or the time of day--but make the NEXT RIGHT choice! you will have LOTS of moments of crappy/overload eating from now till the day you die. just try to make more good ones in the end. make sense?
so--go have a glass of water. plan out the rest of your day food-wise. plan out tomorrow using the food diary and have it ready to go for you.
count on snacks too.
and look at your eating patterns. for ex, i know i am crazy hungry 3/4pmish. so a lot of days, i just eat a big dinner then. i go with the flow instead of trying to fight what my body needs.
sooo for a while see if you can write down your thoughts with the foods/eating times.
OR if that's too much or overwhelming, think small. drink 1 glass of water w/each meal + 1 each snack. plan breakfast. and after you've eaten that, plan your lunch. and do that all day every day for many days. baby steps, slow and steady, etc etc.
you CAN do this! you can have SUCCESS--but it takes time, practice, planning, patience, knowledge and more. YOU WILL REACH YOUR GOALS!0 -
Welcome Sunny and Nicole! Glad you two have joined us. This is a great group of women. I truly like them all.
Sunny hang in there and just like Stacey says, you can make the right choice. It is a life long road to travel and this is just one tiny moment in it! You will do better next time but remember we all make mistakes (that is why we are human) :flowerforyou:
Nicole I started running and loved it then developed knee tendonitis which was very painful, trying to slowly get back into it.
I made it to the gym today and am already sore or still sore from Tuesday. I did all strength training and will try to do some cardio tomorrow :bigsmile:0 -
Thanks for the pep talks ladies, you all are right and I WILL do this!!!0

Well, hi all! I am a SAHM of a 3 yr old boy, my joy. His name is Logan. We are going to be trying for #2 and hopefully #3 in March 2010 through frozen embryo transfer. So, my big ole butt needs to get motivated and loose 60 lbs by March. Not hung up on the number, but just that it goes down  We live in interior Alaska and I believe I will need help staying motivated through the winter. I would like to pair up with someone if possible, just to stay even more accountable. Hope y'all won't mind me joining!0

welcome just2bfit! good advice from silver--there are lots of challenges and teams out there to give you motivation, support, and companionship. plus it's just fun to mix things up all the time.
we also sometimes do challenges on this thread--but we're really casual here.

Good Morning! That is fabolous Sunny D! I like to exercise in the morning because it makes me feel great the rest of the day too! If I wait till later in the day I find every excuse in the book not to do it!0

Welcome Just2bfit ! we just moved from Alaska so I completely feel your need for motivation. Hang in there and stick to it this is a great group to get motivation from. The winters are long but if you have a HRM you burn TONS of calories shoveling snow. I used to ask the neighbors if I could shovel their drive way to get my cardio in!
Good luck, love your ice hotel ticker ...miss that place already, we were just there in June!0 -
I just had to come in here and say how excited I am....I lost 3 pounds! I know it is just water but it is still nice to see the scale fall. That being said I don't need to weigh myself everyday because I have been known to celebrate weight loss with food:huh: I think once a week should be okay...we'll see.0
-
That's great Sunnyd! I just lost 2 lbs in water retention. I eat to much sodium! Just keep up the great work and you'll lose the weight you want. :flowerforyou:0
-
Okay leave it to me but I just have to ask because the dreaded "time of the month" is fastly approuching. I am trying to pay really close attention to what I've eaten and everything like I should but how often do you gals experience a weight gain?? Usually I do even though I don't necessarily eat a ton of junk food I just retain a TON of water. Anyone have any success loosing weight when aunt flow is around? or am I just doomed to gain every 4 weeks?0
-
Oh happy day!! I have lost 15 lbs in a little over tow weeks! Yeehaw:flowerforyou:
This site has been a great way to journal and keep myself accountable, I am so glad I found it.
Have a great week y'all0 -
