I'd rather go for a smaller serving of a full calorie ice cream.

    ^^This

Or budget my calories and have a BIG serving of full calorie ice cream.

Dont know if this helps or not but I love ice cream too so I made my own with almond milk and protein powder. Copied the recipe from a vid on youtube (karaleigh is the channel) Here is a link:

Everyone - be sure to check the calorie count on your froyo - many of them are almost as high in calories as regular ice cream.
  • Breyers makes a carb smart.....which is quite tasty.

Agree...love carb smart... also skinny cow rocks...

    Artic Zero is nasty.

It's good. You just have to nuke it for 15 seconds. I don't eat it plain, I always add peanut butter or some sort of topping.

I have yet to find anything that is decent and low calorie when it comes to ice cream. I usually opt for 1 portion of regular over any kind of low cal/fake ice cream. If I want more than one portion I usually just go work out to make up for it.

Also I believe MissK said it but I will say it again, check your calorie count on your fro-yo... majority are the same as ice cream or pretty close in calories.

Arctic zero. 150 cals for a whole pint.

I second that. I like the Maple Vanilla and Choco Peanut butter the best. Takes some time getting used to but good nonetheless!

I love sherbert, a kind-of better option than ice cream.

My daughter has a yonanas and we make our own - awesome and no guilt.

Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches are SOOO good for 150 calories. I do make my own ice cream out of frozen chopped banana, almond milk and vanilla in a mini chopper. It makes a big serving for a lot fewer calories and you can also add toppings as long as you count them :flowerforyou:

Edy's slow churned. Although, I am really sad they got rid of the birthday cake one. Sometimes, I get sherbert too.

I didn't read all the posts, so sorry if this was said already.

I consider myself an ice cream afficienado. And a student of ice cream.

By far, EDY's SLOW Churned is the best bang for the buck. They have the best taste and lowest calories(110-140) per serving. Skinny Cow has about the same calories but the serving size is definitely smaller. I have taken the skinny cow ice creams on the stick and put it in a half cup(same as EDY size serving) and you can get one and a half of them in there. Hence more calories per serving size when the size is the same.

EDY's must be slow churned. The regular EDY's has way to many calories. And I have had just about every flavor on the market and everyone of them is awesome.

As a matter of fact, I have 8(yes 8) different flavors of EDY's Slow Churned in my freezer right now.

AND one more thing............ Just as good as regular calorie ice cream. I promise.

If I don't have bananas than I like the So Delicious coconut milk ice cream. Super delicious!
