    Excuse me?
I am sorry to say that but you look sick to me. I know several people with the same problem, and their body and especially face, look the same as yours. Be careful girl!

Yes, she is quite thin, but in my opinion she doesn't look sickly. In my opinion, she looks good, but that is the type of body I am aiming for. I do agree that not everybody wants to be that small and that she shouldn't lose anymore. She stated that she lost the weight over several years and by doing things such as Jillian Michaels' dvds. That to me, says that she lost it in a healthy, not a sick way. I would never encourage someone who did not seem to be taking care of themselves.

I agree that she does not look sickly, I don't see her bones poking out, I think she looks beautiful and happy! She looks good in her before photo as well. I'm not aiming to be quit this thin, but it does not look bad on her at all. I think in our society we are just use to seeing more meat on people and when someone comes alone and has lost quiet a bit or is thin like she is, then we think it's sick looking because we are not use to seeing it.

I just went through this whole thing with family, my MIL has made me promise her I won't lose anymore weight but I couldn't promise her that, and I never did promise her that, I'm not done. I'm 5'3 and 137lbs right now, I want to be 120. She says I'm going to look sick if I lose anymore. I still have fat on my bones, a lot of it still. I don't want to be skinny, I wanna be fit, but I need to get the fat leveled out before the fit look can really shine.

Hi there! I'm also 5'2", and in about a year and a half I went from 189 lbs (size 14/16) to 158 lbs (size 10). Trying to lose the last layer of fat over these abs, but I did P90X, Insanity, Turbo Jam, and Turbo Fire. Yep, I'm a BeachBody junkie.

Here's a comparison in actual clothes!

Photo in purple dress taken April 2010
    40 bust - 34 waist - 48 hips @ 189 lbs

Photo in print dress taken July 2012
    36 bust - 27 waist - 41 hips @ 157 lbs

Well I am 4'11'. I refuse to look at the big picture.(literally and figuratively) I lost 20 lbs 170-150 (and maintained for 2 years the bigger success) and now working on another 10 to get to 140. I know I won't ever get to the insurance recomendation but just want to be "thin enough to be healthy". Daily exercise is the tough but essential part working night shift and studing for masters interfers with the rest of my life. Gonna start again today journalling help. What prevents me from doing the things I know work and keeps me falling back to old habits????

Not a huge difference, at least to me. Height is 5'3. My starting weight is 229, current weight is 203, goal is 150 by this time next year hopefully. If I can hit that, then I will try to get too 130. But I am just taking this a day at a time lol.

I lost 30 pounds, I'm 5'0". Took me a couple years but I did it!

    100_0241.jpg

A LOT of Jillian Michaels, elliptical every day for 30 minutes, and counting calories. :)

AHH you look amazing. I'm inspired to start the 30-day shred again..for the 3rd time. Can I ask how many calories you ate a day and how long it took you to lose? I'm 5'1 and having such a hard time getting below 100. (My goal is 95).

Wow! Saying "I'm sorry" before you're rude, doesn't make you any less rude.
That's another human being, with real feelings that you're talking to, not just a name on your computer screen.

Not one of us on this earth has the right to tell someone else that they look 'sick'.

She looks beautiful, well done to her.

I'm 4'9. When I first started MFP I was 136 lbs, about 6 months after having my second child. I am now 98 lbs. I watch what I eat most of the time, walk ALOT, and do pilates and Insanity every so often. I would like to get down to 90 lbs, but right now I'm focusing on muscle and measurements. I'm on my nook, so I can't post pics, but when I get on my laptop I will.
