    I really like the Franz San Juan Island bread. I used to use Safeway brand whole wheat bread but it's super dry & crumbly. I love Franz & Open Nature breads.

    probably already been mentioned but I use Smart Wonder white or wheat at 50 calories a slice..it's GREAT!

    I love Russian Pumpernickle but ..... I eat those 100 cal sandwich thins. Then I add a veggie burger of some type an some salsa. Yummy. and filling

    HEB Bake Shop- Honey Wheat or Wheat- 45 cals/slice, and I love the texture.

    I also prefer the round sandwich thins, like Orowheat or Nature's Own...They taste great, and are 100 calories for one sandwich.

    This is my pick. It doesn't taste like diet bread. It comes in wheat too if that is your style. My family doesn't complain about eating this one.

    I get hovis wholemeal nimble, it's 52 calories a slice - they're smaller than normal but taste like normal bread!

    My favorite bread has always been the Co-op Grocery bakery's Canadian Harvest. 110cal for 2 slices, and its bakery fresh!

    LOVE this and I am picky! Has a nice honey flavor to it and is whole wheat.
