    I remember that is what my grandma used to use for her chicken and noodles! Seemed normal to me at the time, but I cant say that I have seen it since then.

    That has been around for a looooooooooooooooooooooong time... Its the same deal as canned ham. Im not a fan, but my dad takes it out in the bush to cook over a fire when they go camping... doesnt spoil. On the farm they used to preserve chickens like that all the time in jars. No chemicals at all.

    OMG i think i vomited a little in my mouth! HA!!! Chopped did an episode where chicken in a can was one of the ingredients. they didn't show it that close up though.
