"Great job! You look fantastic!" is good.
"I want to unbutton your shirt with my teeth!" is too much.
If you'd feel comfortable saying it in front of your wife, or having someone else say it to your wife, daughter, mother... it's fine.
heh. Like this0 -
Saying anything positive is alright. As long as its not overly sexual.
"You're beautiful, great work!" Is fine
"You're beautiful! Send me a personal pic? " NOT OKAY.

I'd say if you wouldn't say it to your daughter, don't say it to a stranger. Especially if they are young enough to be your daughter. Saying "I need to go take a cold shower now" after a compliment (which you did previously) is a No No.0

Whatever you decide to say, say it on her wall, not in her inbox. Keeping it out where others can chime in and agree that she's looking great keeps everything above-board and is less likely to creep her out.0

Me too lol. Your obviously a nice guy and I'm sure it won't be taken the wrong way... if it is then it's them with the problem. Who doesn't like their hard work recognized? :-)0 -
Here is the difference.
When you offer the compliment. are you sporting a chubby?
If yes, then you might want to check yourself.
That's it :drinker:0 -
I treat everyone on here the same - I have a couple real life friends on here too and with them I can say things different but all others men or women I compliment the same - I have on my profile im engaged and have kids and to be honest when a guy gives me a compliment on here makes my confidence build up and think wow someone else thinks im doing great look great other than my fiance (who I think would love me in a paper bag so sometimes his complients dont phaze me) LOL poor guy.
with my real friends on here - I say oh wow your bum/boobs are shrinking and point out percifics - my friends have things they dont like so when i notic a difference i compliment it,
however for people I dont know and dont know what they take affence to - I just simply say 'your doing fantastic'0 -

Am I just the only one who would just laugh that off?0 -

No, you're not the only one that would laugh that off. Plenty would even take it as a compliment, but there are plenty that wouldn't. He asked how to make a compliment and not be creepy, and that comment is creepy to me. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would feel that way.0 -

The difference between compliment and creepy is how good looking the person is.0
-
Bad looking person: " dang you're hot" that is creepy.
Good looking person: " dang you're hot" that is a compliment.
That should clear that up.0 -
