Thank you all for your supportive comments! I do feel wonderful and more like the person I was meant to be. I realized I can set a goal and reach it no matter how long it takes and the only person I have to please is myself. One of the neatest things to come out of this is that my children are starting to follow my lead. My 10 year old has decided he is signing up for his first kids triathlon and is stoked that he will be able to keep up with his mom.
