He has some pretty good points. I, personally, love oatmeal as it keeps me full and the fiber helps my digestive system. I don't have any opinions on this guy, though. He's just sharing his opinion on a blog.0

I always though eating oatmeal was good for you too until i started counting calories. Oatmeal for a half cup is about 150 calories and I want to add things to it to not make it taste like.... crappy oatmeal... which makes it a full 300 calories + with hardly any food. I rather 4 egg whites, some veggies, reduced fat cheese, low carb toast, and some fruit like melons, pears, or an apple half which equal about 300 calories. Big plate of food vs. plain oatmeal.. i think the choice is pretty easy... I still love oatmeal though I'm just not in love with it anymore...0

Oatmeal is fine. If you don't like it don't eat it. I ate it every other day for about 6 months. It is a great cholesterol vacuum.
Then I decided I wanted more protein so switched to mostly greek yogurt every day. There is no need for discourse.0 -
