gained 7 pounds during TOM?!

My net this week was 1200 so I know its not from overeating.. does anyone else gain this much during TOM?

man!!! i hope not... this is only my 2nd week on "MFP".. and i just today started my TOM.. so i guess i'll find out friday (when i weigh myself) .. but i know peeps can gain like 1-4 pounds or so.. just dependson your body i think...:ohwell:0

I gain anywhere from 4-8 pounds....usually gone the next week or so.0

Since you bought up hydration I just remembered it could be due to my hospital stay.. they have been pumping me full of saline.0

It's bloat, it will happen nearly every TOM so get used to it! It usually goes away within a few days (assuming your eating stays on track)0

I'm guessing you're on your period as well.0 -
I always gain 3-5 lbs it's all bloat/water weight. Don't sweat it and stay off the scale during TOM!0

I can gain anywhere from 5-10...10 on a bad month0

I know this doesnt help with the TOM issue (since Im a guy), but I have seen my weight go up as far as 8 lbs in 1 week. I get on the scale first thing just about every morning. Then by the time I step on the scale for weigh in day, I still lose 1-2 lbs. The first few times I saw that I did freak out a bit. Thinking wth am I doing wrong? The average will work themselves out. Also, no Im not on my period.0

Bleh, I didn't gain, but I have been eating 1200 net and working out a ton (for me) and it stayed the same for the first time in a while. Does it go away, like, now that it's over if it was water weight should I be seeing a big drop in a day or two?0

ha, that gave me a giggle. yes, i always gain a few. i'm up 4 on a few days ago, just in time for official weigh in. thanks body! and now to battle the carb cravings for a few days.0

I gained so much I'm afraid to look (I can see it in the mirror and in my pants). I have to buck up tomorrow for weigh in, but I know it's gonna be a nightmare.0

I gained 3kg at one point!! it's mostly gone now, I've gone up 1kg. it's usually just water, should be gone soon. just keep up with your nutrition and fitness and you shouldn't seen a gain once it's over.0

It's possible. I gain about 4-7 myself just before and during. Good to know others out there have this issue.0

I definitely gain a few but stopped weighing around that time. I'm usually CONSTANTLY hungry during my TOM do I just try to focus on not eating giant portions of chocolate and/or ice cream and ignore the scale for a few days0
