    I'll go anti-gun, and I live in Canada, where we have a constitution, a Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and a gun death rate 1/6th of that of our American friends.

    and 1/10th the population.

    I disagree with that attitude. I support your right to own a gun. As a matter of fact, as a veteran, I defended your right to own a gun. That said, I am anti-gun.

    Thank you for your service! And I respect your opinion/right to be anti-gun.

    That said, I am pro-gun.

    Like others have said, the criminals will still find them. I used to process hand-gun permits and we had a lot of people come register for one. And I could count on one hand the number of times a criminal (someone with a previous conviction/criminal history) came in and tried to get one.

    Pro-gun!

    Chicago has some of the toughest gun control laws in the US. How's that working out for them? If guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have them. Besides, they are much easier to carry around than a policeman. In most life and death emergencies involving a criminal with a gun, the police show up just in time to draw a chalk outline around the victim and write the report.

    I think you're misinterpreting the response. They're not saying that they're anti stupid because if you're not pro gun you're an idiot. I'm fairly certain they're saying "pro-gun anti people who don't know how to use them and are irresponsible with them."

    I have my reasons and they all go along with the If you take away guns only criminals have guns. IT's true. There could no gun stores and a criminal would still be able to find one.
