Healthy Skinny Girl Diet??

This diet is similar to Bob Harper's diet, Jumpstart to Skinny, where you eat only 800 calories and limitless amounts of vegetables. Adding the calories from vegetables would put you at around 1,200. I see nothing wrong with the Healthy Skinny Girl Diet for this reason.
However, I'd rather just stick with one number, say, 1,000 calories, rather than switching it up every day. That small of a variance will not make a difference in how your metabolism runs; for that, one should try the 5:2 Fast diet.

I don't understand the 'eat as much veg n fruit you like' mentality. Either calorie count or not?! Why log up to 800 then eat a potential 500 (for example) and deny the existence of those extra ones?! It just sounds like mindful eating rather than counting. Then again, if you don't log the veg in a day I'd probably have about those cals most days and I maintain so no. I do not think this is a good plan!0
