No i am not as lazy as this post sounds. I just want to know what some of you do while you are just laying around by the television. I sometimes do planks in between the shows and during commercials. I just rather do something productive while watching tv, so i don't feel so lazy(:
What does everyone do?

Not much really. But I have a hard time staying still most of the time. I usually end up pacing the living room and kitchen.0

If I'm watching sports I love to jog on the spot, butt kicks or knee ups, like being part of the team :P
If watching a random movie or show usually pull out the weights for some arm work
If watching a kids show with the little ones I'll do some yoga/stretching since I really don't need to pay attention0 -

I have some little 10-minute exercise plans, as well as some weights-oriented exercise ideas that I like to do during commercials (or while I'm watching the show, depending on what the exercise plan is). If you're on Pinterest, there are some great ideas for "easy and anywhere" exercises. Otherwise- planks, crunches, push-ups, lunges, squats, etc. are all good options.0

I will sit on a stability ball and wiggle around, doing crunches or balance practice. I also will do exercises with my 8 lb dumb bell, push ups stretches or planks. My husband has been known to do sit ups or the bicycle while ON the couch. Cracks me up.0

I found these recently. http://*uckyeahmovieworkouts.tumblr.com/archive replace the * with an f. You can always make your own for your fav shows. Makes shows more interesting and varies your workout for you.0

Mindless cardio should be the only thing done while watching TV. Anything done with weights should have all of your attention.0
-
I could do power walking. That might be entertaining.0

For me when i watch tv its during my recovery time so i just watch and let my body recover0
-
Recently its been step aerobics but I also do my 20lb dumb bells or the elliptical.0

I watch Netflix and YouTube videos on my Kindle Fire while I'm on the treadmill. If I feel like doing a little extra I'll hop on the treadmill during commercials since the TV and treadmill are in the same room. I can burn off 100 calories just doing that during a one hour show.0

I don't watch much TV except during football season (my husband and I are football fanatics). During commercial breaks, I have been known to break out my jump rope.
My husband thinks it's a guilt complex from watching athletes run up and down the field while I am lazing on the sofa. Hmmm. With the Olympics coming up, I may be doing some more rope skipping.0 -
I walk while watching TV. I pad the floor with a non-slip bath mat. Shoes or not works just as well. Takes a little getting used to. It uses different muscles. Or uses muscles differently. This allows for a lot of variation of tempo, style, whatever. I have added stretchy bands. and get a weight workout too. It's very easy to add to this program.0
