    For me when i watch tv its during my recovery time so i just watch and let my body recover :)

    Recently its been step aerobics but I also do my 20lb dumb bells or the elliptical.

    I watch Netflix and YouTube videos on my Kindle Fire while I'm on the treadmill. If I feel like doing a little extra I'll hop on the treadmill during commercials since the TV and treadmill are in the same room. I can burn off 100 calories just doing that during a one hour show.

    I don't watch much TV except during football season (my husband and I are football fanatics). During commercial breaks, I have been known to break out my jump rope.

    My husband thinks it's a guilt complex from watching athletes run up and down the field while I am lazing on the sofa. Hmmm. With the Olympics coming up, I may be doing some more rope skipping.

    I walk while watching TV. I pad the floor with a non-slip bath mat. Shoes or not works just as well. Takes a little getting used to. It uses different muscles. Or uses muscles differently. This allows for a lot of variation of tempo, style, whatever. I have added stretchy bands. and get a weight workout too. It's very easy to add to this program.

    I like doing crunches, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, jump rope (minus the rope) squats, lunges, TRY push ups, and some easy very light weight lifting for arms. I like to time myself and right down how many I do so it challenges me to do more next time!
