For all the single ladies....

Well first and foremost to get healthy. But a VERY close second is to make my ex eat his words.."you aren't committed to losing weight"..well...so far I've lost 39.8 (most before joining MFP)..so he can suck it!0
-
For me!
I have been dumped a few too many times because of my weight and well, they can kiss it!0 -
For ME!!!!!!!0
-
Primarily for my health and to enjoy a long, active life.
Secondary to that is to feel freakin' sexy. :bigsmile:0 -
So I can be an uber slut.0
-
Well, I am doing it for me, to feel good about myself and be healthy.....but......I will get a kick out of showing my ex what he threw away. :laugh:0
-
Uh...because I don't like the way my body is looking right now. I really don't care what anyone else thinks. When I look at myself and think "Ugh! That's nasty", it's time to do something about it.0
-
For me but some days my hatred of certain men keeps me going lol I've been screwed over too many times in the past year.0
-
to be way better looking than anything my exes are dating currently!0
-
Three reasons...
1) For myself
2) To see that look on my ex's face every time I see him! ha! Your loss, you cheating abusive loser!
3) To be noticed.0 -
focus on your present and not on your past,
let them leave your thoughts,......
so you can have the last laugh
I used to want to prove to people who had hurt me mentally that I was going to get fit but it was more rewarding to do it for myself and meet better people0 -
I guess my main reason is because I'm almost 25 and I've never been in a relationship. I'm ready to date and get married before I'm 30. I've always thought that guys won't give me a chance because of my weight even though I have an awesome personality.
Also, now more than ever, it's about my health. High blood pressure runs on both sides of my family and as of this year both of my parents have had cancer. If I lose the weight, I know it will lower my risk.0 -
So I can be "the one that got away" not just "the ex"
And so I can get up on the stage at the club and not get booed at.0 -
So I can cosplay!!0

I want to be and look happier/healthier/better. Maybe that will give me more confidence.0
-
i was just about to make a topic like this lol
for me, it's one of my great friends. i like him and i think we could really have something, he's kissed me and stuff before but i've never really thought he might be interested. however he's living with his aunt in australia for a year (i live in scotland) i want to be totally changed by the time he comes back and maybe he'll see me differently.
i mean, that's not the main reason, i've known i've had to make a change for so long, this is just my main motivation.0 -
What's your reason to get fit and fantastic?
Mine, is make my ex jelous. haha
:drinker: :drinker: ME TOO!!!! ME TOO!!! :drinker: :drinker:  That's my #1 Reason.0 -
So I can be in a relationship and not be so GD Self Conscience..Most importantly for me not for anbody else!0
-
Doing it for myself.
For my health. But also to feel better about myself again.
Anytime I've tried doing it for any other reason- I've failed, or it was short lived loss.0 -
I am already fantastic, but I wouldnt mind being the "Hot friend"0
-
Firstly to be healthy and respect my body. I feel so much better when I'm exercising and being generally more healthy, it makes me happier and a better person.
Another reason is that speaking to my ex a month after we broke up I told him I had started running and he just laughed at me. It made me realise how much he had undermined my confidence while we'd been together, and made me more determined to get great at it. If I get tired when running I imagine his smug little face laughing at me and suddenly I have a lot more energy and can go much further.0 -
I do it for me,and to one day have a boyfriend0
-
To be a better role model to my kids and to feel better about me.
And to show my ex how much better I really am without him. He wouldn't let me join a gym or help me find time to get in workouts. Then he hooked up with a gal heavier than me and they joined a gym together. So I'm doing it on my own (with the help of MFP, my beachbody coach and Shakeology). That being said, they were going an hour a day at least and she's still heavier than me. I thought about telling her about how much y'all help me and then thought, "WHY would I ever do that?" LOL0 -
So I can be an uber slut.
LOVE! haha. You are awesome0 -
Mine, is make my ex jelous. haha
That works for me, too.0 -
So I can cosplay!!
I'm not a single lady, but this is one of my motivations as well0 -
to be healthy. being over 40, you really start to focus more on improving health and doing everything possible to keep the body in great shape.0
-
So I can be hot... and feel great. My female co workers actually asked me if I did it for my boyfriend... Why the hell would I lose almost 40 pounds for someone else? He fell in love with me when I was fat and he still loves me... I can't wait until the fall when I straighten my hair and it's all long down my back and I can wear my boots n stuff! I'm gonna be hot hot hot!0
-
Mine's got nothing to do with my ex or anything like that - My ex seemed to want me to continue gaining weight.
Never mentioned my weight, always said I was beautiful, when I'd try to lose weight he'd get all upset and we actually took the first step when I mentioned that I am changing my life and going to live a healthier lifestyle.
So I'm doing it so I feel sexy and finally feel what it's like to be in a healthy weight rage (I've always been obese).
Wouldn't mind meeting a sexy guy who actually acts like a man either.0
